Baan Suwan (Bright House) is located in the Chaweng/Bophut hills, with commanding views of Chaweng Bay and as far as Big Buddha/Ban Rak Bay.

The community is made up of a variety of quality, individually designed homes with the added benefit of gated security.

So our guests can enjoy their holiday experience to the full, unlike many other villas we do not restrict our guests with check in and check out times. The villa is yours from when you arrive until you depart regardless of time of day at no extra cost.

To enable us to keep the rental prices low on the villa electricity in extra and charged at local rate of Baht 6.5 per unit, and to be settled locally on check-out.

(As an example of electricty cost we had a family of 6 staying 10 days over the Christmas period and their electricity use was B1,400/AUD53.00 for the 10 days)

Fitted and fully furnished with European kitchen; oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, food blender, filter coffee machine and a Dolche Gusto with complimentary pods to get you started.

The villa is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard to give you that added feel of living in a private stylish home. The villa is fitted with light dimmers through-out, inside and outside to provide that extra cozy feeling at night time. The pool also have changing mood lights.

The villa provides approx. 275 sqm. of living space. Off-road parking and covered parking for several motorbikes.

The villa offers stunning day and night time views over the jungle towards Chaweng town and the ocean beyond, with views of the gold coverd Wat Khao Hua Jook temple in the distance which shines like a beacon when hit by the late afternoon sun.

The hilly terrain reaches approximately 90 metres above sea level , whilst enjoying being in a peaceful and quiet jungle location however still only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng.

Baan Suwan is located just minutes from Chaweng Beach and all amenities, the new Central Festival Mall with it's international shops and restaurants, and the small local shops on the beach road for your local hand made goods.

This villa has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with two queen size beds, and one king-size in the master bedroom with it's own large en-suite bathroom with shower and double sinks, dressing table and sliding doors onto your private ocean view terrace.

The 2nd bedroom has a small en-suite shower wet room with sink, fan and WC, and the 3rd bedroom has its own small shower wet room with sink, fan and WC just outside the door.

All bedrooms have safes. The master bedroom safe can accommodate laptops, and the safes in the other guest bedrooms can accommodate iPads.

All bedrooms are fitted with flat screen tv's and Apple TV boxes which enables you to stream from your device onto the TV, or connect to your Netflix acccount.

The outdoor terrace has a covered lounge and dining area, both seating 6 guests, which provide ample of space for you to relax day and night. On the terrace you will also find sun loungers, parasol's and comfort beanbags for your relaxation by your private pool.

The indoor spacious lounge and dining area with its high vaulted ceilings both provides seating for 6 guests, and two large sliding patio doors that gives you the feeling of being outside when inside.

In the lounge area a 43 inch TV, fibre optic WiFi and a Apple TV box for streaming from your smart device.

Quality bath, pool towels and bed linens are provided along with twice a week house keeping, twice weekly pool and garden service.

Just 5 minutes to Lotus super store (cinema, bowling and shopping) and 10 minutes to the beach (Chaweng, Ban Rak or Bophut).

Included is a welcome hamper of food and drinks to get you started on your arrival, bathroom amenity packs are provided for your comfort.

Due to the location of the villa we recommend car or moped hire.

Wir haben eine ganz tolle Woche in dem Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und man hat alles was man benötigt. Ob Kaffeemaschine, Bügeleisen oder Föhn. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich!!!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We spent a really great week in the house. The house is very well maintained and you have everything you need. Whether coffee maker, iron or hair dryer. Everything has been thought of. The view is indescribable!!!! We felt very comfortable.

This is an amazing Villa with mesmerizing views located up on a hill facing the chaweng Lake & the Chaweng Beach

Villa is well equipped with modern amenities, cookware, & appliances to make a long stay very comfortable if you enjoy cooking yourself

The view from the kitchen wash basin itself is breathtaking & 2 of the rooms have the same amazing view

Location of the Villa is a bit on the far side from Samui Main road (we clocked it at 5 - 6 minutes each way on average). The location of the Villa dictate a rental car / motorcycle

Villa is laid out at One level, so no crazy stairs if you need to sleep or get to your car.

overall this place is worth the money & is an excellent choice Families

Tonny has been an amazing host. He always replied within minutes and his care for his guests goes far beyond the duties of an -------- host (he helped me with some private stuff).
We stayed almost 1 week and the villa and the team managing is was amazing. It's just like in the pictures. Super clean and you feel like home. Well equipped and you have everything you need (soap, shampoo, tissues, drinks, snacks, coffee etc)
Also check in and checkout is super relaxed and flexible. We checked out at 630 am and it was not a problem, we could have stayed until afternoon.

Truly a memorable experience!

Wow, what a great house. Large patio amazing, shade and sun, nice pool, the view you want! House very clean, nicely decorated/equipped, comfortable. Staff and owner very helpful! Major grocery store nearby and closer "normal shop" for quick things. Quiet neighborhood, suggest a scooter or car, to get to stores, restaurants, beach, and up the hill for your great view reward. All thumbs up.

un sans faute

propriété qui correspond en tout point à l’annonce. Très bien placée sur les hauteurs pour bénéficier de la brise surtout le soir. Tout s’est parfaitement passé de l’accueil ponctuel et courtois du couple Thaïlandais qui s’occupe de la maintenance et de l’entretient (piscine, jardin, menage et changement de draps et serviettes 3 fois par semaine). Nos superhosts Tony et David sont tres serviables et joignables rapidement. Tous les services dont on peut avoir besoin, loc de scooter ou voiture (je recommande définitivement le scooter) organisations d’excursions (le parc naturel de 42 îles en bateau privé c’est le paradis) supermarchés etc…..sont à proximité. N’hésitez pas à aller à Koh Samui, c’est tres facile et surtout n’hésitez pas à louer cette maison spacieuse et confortable où tout fonctionne parfaitement. J’y retournerai avec plaisir vous pouvez avoir confiance.

Perfect location

This home is highly recommendable. My wife and I spent nearly 2 weeks there and we enjoyed every minute. Once you get used to the very steep drive to the house you are rewarded with an extraordinary panoramic view via the jungle to the Chaweng Bay, the Pagode and even Big Buddha at the islands northern shore. It is a perfect location to conduct excursions from there to the many small gems of this beautiful island. The overall equipment of the house from kitchen facilities to mattresses is high end. But due to the picturesque views and the nice moodlight equipped pool we spend most of our time around the house outside at the terrace. Aye and Win the 2 “good souls” of the house are very nice to deal with. The owners are very responsive and their generous offer to check in early and check out late are a big plus as well considering the usual early arrival and late departure connections from and to Europe. In case of returning to Koh Samui this place is definitely our first address. Thank you very much for a more than pleasant stay.

Jahreswechsel mit Aussicht

Wir haben den Jahreswechsel 2022/2023 in dieser wunderschönen Villa mit traumhaftem Ausblick verbracht. Insgesamt 8 Nächte. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern David und Tonny klappte durchweg super. Auch die Organisation des 1. Flughafentransfers klappte gut. Aye und Win empfingen uns sehr herzlich mit einem ersten Vorrat an Essen und Getränken. Ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam war die Dekoration des Masterbedrooms sowie die Flasche Champagner mit der wir überrascht wurden (waren zu Beginn unserer Flitterwochen dort). Vor Ort war Win stets per WhatsApp erreichbar und auch David erkundigte sich regelmäßig ob alles passt. Die Villa ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ist sehr schön wenn auch relativ kühl, was bei ~30°C aber durchaus erfrischend ist. Ab dem frühen Nachmittag liegt die Villa eher im Schatten was der Lage am Berghang geschuldet ist. Durchgängig warmes bzw. heißes Wasser hatte nur das Bad vom Masterbedroom. Auch der Wasserdruck könnte höher sein. Allerdings muss jedem klar sein, wo man sich befindet: nämlich etwas "ab vom Schuss" in einer sehr ruhigen, kleinen Nachbarschaft auf einem Berg oberhalb von Chaweng (10-15min Rollerfahrt). Dafür hat man dort seine Ruhe und einen Wahnsinns Ausblick von der großzügigen Terrasse. Unabdingbar ist es ein eigenes Fahrzeug zu mieten: Die Straßen sind sehr steil und ein Grab/Taxi zu bekommen ist (bis auf den von Win organisierten Flughafen Transfer) quasi ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Das mussten wir an unserem vorletzten Tag leider noch auf die harte Tour lernen, denn durch ein Missverständnis bei der Buchung der Motorroller durch Win mussten wir die Roller bereits um 09:00 Uhr wieder abgeben. Auch hatten wir es im Vorfeld so verstanden, dass die Roller bereits zur Villa gebracht würden und wir die ganze Abwicklung nur mit Win machen. Dem war leider nicht so. Win brachte zwar einen der beiden Roller hoch zur Villa aber nur damit wir mit ihm zur Roller Vermietung fahren konnten wo wir den Vertrag direkt mit den Vermietern der Roller abwickeln mussten. Die Roller selbst waren nicht im besten Zustand aber noch okay. Auf unseren Wunsch wurde bei einem der beiden noch der komplett abgefahrene Vorderreifen in einer nahegelegenen Werkstatt gewechselt. Leider kostete das alles unnötig Urlaubszeit. Tipp: Roller im Vorfeld lieber selbst organisieren. Flughafentaxi am Morgen der Abreise war leider verspätet, haben den Flug aber noch bekommen. Insgesamt auf jeden Fall eine sehr schöne Zeit. Gerne wieder!
