Excellent property

The property is located in rural setting, lots of farming around the area. The location suited ourselves as we found it didn't prevent us from exploring nearby attractions. Saumur and Chinon and the Loire river were all within easy reach. During our stay we took a river boat trip along the Loire from Saumur, Chinon had a music festival of which we attended 2 concerts, the excellent restaurant Jardin d'Antan was close by of which we had 2 visits. Barbara was the perfect host and the property had everything you would need to either relax or cook for yourselves, a very enjoyable stay ... hope you recover from you ankle injury. Ann and Tom

Magnifique weekend en n'a adoré gite super bien équipé environnement très calme très reposant avec la piscine et heureusement avec la chaleur en n'a bien profité.merci a Barbara pour l'accueil on reviendra.

Le seul mot d’ordre était relax pour ce week end entre filles . Le gîte de Barbara est idéalement situé pour découvrir les bords de Loire. Le cadre est magnifique. Je garde en mémoire l’adresse pour une prochaine visite des environs.

Très bonne expérience

Le séjour a été excellent et nous y avons trouvé tout ce que nous recherchions : du calme, de la tranquillité, une piscine privative et un barbecue. L'hôte, Barbara, a été très discrète pendant ces deux semaines, tout en restant disponible pour répondre à nos questions et nous aider dès que nous en avions besoin. Petit plus : le jardin est tourné vers l'ouest, parfait pour apprécier un beau coucher de soleil.

The most wonderful family holiday making unforgettable memories!

Myself and my family have just returned from our ten day summer holiday at Barbara’s wonderful quaint property. Barbara was more than accommodating from the moment we arrived to the second we departed, a truly fantastic host! The large garden and pool had our 4 year old in his element the entire holiday enabling Mum and Dad plenty of relaxing time to reset. Thank you Barbara again! We’ll treasure this holiday for many years ☺️

Court séjour au vert

4 jours/3nuits Vous serez pas embêtés par le voisinage 😁! Location conforme à l'annonce. Literie impeccable. Piscine privative (mais non chauffée) qui donne sur le grand jardin. Grand champ où notre fils de 3ans 1/2 a pu courir et jouer (même s'il n'est pas clos, pas de danger) Piece de vie effectivement un peu sombre mais quand il fait beau il faut profiter de la terrasse et de l'extérieur. On est à peu près à 15/20min de toutes les activités possibles. On a donc l'embarras du choix. Barbara est une hôte sympathique et à l'écoute.

Loire Valley Hideaway

My wife and I were very impressed with Barbara’s hideaway. The cottage was clean, functional, and out of the way but still fairly close to all the wonderful little towns and chateaus in the valley. The private pool was a treat and we felt like we were the only people around for miles yet Barbara was there anytime we had a question. We were the first quests from the United States so we hope Barbara sees many more. You will not be disappointed. C’était génial

Super Woche mit Rad und Châteaus

Das Objekt erfüllte alle unsere Erwartungen. Wir erlebten hier eine ruhige, entspannte, erholsame Woche inmitten weiter Felder und mit einer super Aussicht über das Land, vorm Haus immer von Rosmarin- und Lavendelduft umgeben, der ein beinahe südländisches Flair vermittelte. Kurz und gut: alles perfekt!

Mooie woning op een zeer rustige volop privacy biedende locatie!

Heel netjes, schoon, mooi opgeknapte woning. Volledig uitgerust. Alle benodigheden voor een fijne week voorhanden. Zeer adequaat contact met de verhuurder, snelle respons. Zwembad niet supergroot, maar heerlijk om in af te koelen en zonnebaden op t terras.

Le gîte est très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. L'emplacement est au calme et idéal pour les visites. Le temps ne nous a permis de profiter de la piscine mais nous reviendrons pour la tester ! Nous avons passé un très bon week-end. Merci beaucoup Barbara.
