Inside the home, an open kitchen and dining area flow into the first spacious living room, accommodating all guests comfortably. Each of the 3 bedrooms feature en suite bathrooms and king beds (one of the bedrooms has two king beds). A second living space welcomes with a large sectional sofa and game table, complete with board games. Adjacent to each living area are 2 more nooks - one a 'reading room' with bay windows that offer a forest-like ambiance; the second an 'inspiration room' encouraging journaling or song-writing, tea sipping, and heartfelt conversations. These versatile spaces ensure ample room for your family and friends to spread out or gather. Quality furnishings seamlessly blend with unique vintage finds, creating a luxurious yet approachable atmosphere.

Step onto the expansive balcony, offering elevated treetop views furnished with rocking chairs and bistro tables for ultimate relaxation. The open side patio features a fire pit, charcoal BBQ grill, and picnic tables. Outdoor games, like bean bag toss, invite playful moments. Encounter "resident guests" like deer, turkeys, and local wildlife frequenting the property.

Despite the rural setting, you're only 12 miles from Downtown Franklin and 25 miles from Nashville. Important Considerations: there is a lot to love about our home, Lyric but let's be sure it's the right fit for you...

1. Rental Agreement: All guests must sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking (or immediately if arrival is within 48 hours). Failure to sign will result in cancellation of the reservation with applicable penalties.
2. Accessibility: The home is accessible only via small flights of stairs at both the front and back entrances.
3. Transportation: A vehicle is necessary to get around. While a small or large SUV is encouraged, it is not mandatory. The roads leading to the home are paved, but there is a gravel-only easement to reach the property.
4. Location: Our home, Lyric, offers a secluded escape from the daily grind. The nearest gas station/market is a 10-15 minute drive down the hillside, and the nearest grocery store is about 20-25 minutes away.
5. Minimum Age: Primary renter must be 21+ age. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by parents or guardians at all times.
6. Pets: We welcome potty trained dogs with a non-refundable pet fee of $25/day. Please indicate the number of dogs (max 2) during or after booking. The pet fee is in addition to your reservation total and will be requested separately after making your reservation. Payment is due within 48 hours of reservation being made or immediately if reservation begins within 48 hours. Cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and other non-human animals are NOT allowed. Additional pet "house rules" apply. 7. Nature and Wildlife: Our home is surrounded by wooded areas, so if you dislike nature or bugs, we recommend considering other locations outside of Tennessee. While we take precautions to prevent critters from entering the home, occasional encounters are inevitable. Please consider this if you are bringing children, dogs, or have a strong aversion to wildlife.
8. Photo Shoots and Small Gatherings: We welcome pre-approved photo shoots and small gatherings such as business meetings, retreats, baby showers, craft clubs, and networking events. ADDITIONAL FEES APPLY & THESE MUST BE PRE-APPROVED IN ADVANCE. Please contact us for pre-approval and fee details prior to booking. Note: Overnight stays are limited to a maximum of 12 guests. Weddings, marital ceremonies, receptions, and parties are strictly prohibited.
9. Fencing: There is no fencing around the home nor property.
10. Dynamic Rates: Our rates vary based on the day of the week, season, and other factors. Please enter your exact dates and guest count for accurate pricing. For guest counts over 8 (maximum of 12 guests), an extra fee of $25 per guest per night applies, including infants and children.
11. Smart Home Features: Our home is equipped with smart home technology and security devices. Exterior security cameras are installed on the exterior of each corner of the home (facing the parking area, the entry doors & perimeter of the home. NO interior cameras are present, NO camera faces inside. There are cameras installed on the back balcony that are NOT ON. Echo devices are available and considered listening devices inside the home. If preferred, echo devices can be unplugged for your stay.
