Downtown Franklin is a vibrant blend of historic preservation and modern sophistication. Easy check in and out. Hosts went beyond expectations to make a great stay from coffee supply to a welcoming chocolate bar. House has all you need done tastefully and easy walk to downtown Franklin.
If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay in Franklin, Tennessee, look no further. The location of the Blakely Stone cottage is fantastic! Within walking distance to acquaint downtown and all the Civil War history. The hosts are kind and welcoming. If I’m in the area again, I will certainly stay at Blakely‘s Stone cottage
I was really impressed with the communication. There was construction on many of the houses around us but with the open communication the entire time we were not bothered by the little things like some work being done. The host was super welcoming. The area was perfect. The house and backyard were perfect for my family. We stay in Tennessee often And this will be a go to in future stays
Charming, spacious, comfortable, and clean...Tics all the boxes for me! Hosts were friendly and communication was perfect. I wish all VRBO experiences could be this enjoyable.
Best VRBO I have ever stayed at. The house is adorable and has everything you need. It set up perfectly for our group (four adults and two teenagers). Easy walking to downtown Franklin and easy drive to Nashville. House was extremely quiet. Hosts were perfect to work with. Highly recommend!!!
We had a nice stay in this home that was in close proximity to the main square. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed the peace and quiet of the community. If you like history (as we do), you can explore the site of the Battle of Franklin just a short distance down the road.
The host was very welcoming with a my name listed, with a small treat and a little decorated Christmas tree! Messages upon arrival checking in about our comfort and anything needed as well. Everything was perfect! The home was very clean, decorated beautifully, fully stocked with more than what we expected and so many comfortable areas to relax! The fenced yard was perfect for our little dogs and having parking behind the home was such a bonus! The location was perfect as well! The home is close enough to walk to the downtown Franklin area and an easy drive to Nashville! We look forward to our next visit!!
The property was charming and welcoming. The hosts had everything we needed in place and responded quickly to our questions. You couldn’t ask for a better location to enjoy the city of Franklin!
Great location from downtown Franklin, The Factory, and historical sites. We loved the enjoyable walk downtown for breakfast at the Frothy Monkey. We also attended the Grand Ole Opry for their 100 year anniversary night which was awesome! Getting around from our home base was easy and enjoyable. The Blakely’s Stone Cottage was comfortable for the four of us adults (room to spare, with a set of bunks that were not even used), and we had along two small fur babies, who enjoyed a fenced in back yard. We had everything we needed, as far as equipment and serving pieces to prepare a lovely Thanksgiving meal! We would highly recommend this awesome home for a family gathering in the quaint community of Franklin!
A very pleasant experience in an historical building a neighborhood.
The property was extremely clean. Such a clever use of space. The hosts were very gracious and generous, and we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
