Looking for your perfect little get-a-way? Starlit nights and fun-filled days await you in historic Virginia City. Cozy yet fully equipped, delightfully furnished, guest cabin with living room with sleeper sofa, sleeping loft, kitchenette, small dining area and full bath. A separate bedroom offers a private 3/4 bath, it's own covered porch and a second sleeping loft. Full-light French doors lead from the living/kitchen to a private second shaded porch - perfect for a morning cup of coffee, afternoon rest or evening glass of wine and sunset. Beautiful perennial gardens, outdoor seating and gas fire-pit await your exploration and enjoyment. Birds welcome you with singing. It is pretty special, we think!
History abounds on this c.1890 C.W. Rank House property listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Just a few minutes walking distance to the quaint yet lively downtown historic Virginia City playhouse, Brewery Follies or locally homemade ice cream and candies! The Thompson-Hickman Memorial Library and Museum is just steps through the back gate.

Wonderful place!

Lovely comfortable cabin close to the historic district. My favorite things: the porch swing and Junie Bee, the hosts’ lab. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place to stay!

The host met us with a warm plate of cookies when we showed up! There's a back deck with a porch swing and chairs to enjoy the very well kept flower beds in the back yard. Nice warm showers, comfortable beds.

This property is amazing. Super close to the main street. Clean, bigger than it appears, well appointed, and an awesome host couple. We had a great time staying here and are looking forward to the opportunity to come back!!

Beautiful cabin and yard

We loved the nicely appointed cabin with a gorgeous yard! The cabin was spotless and set up nicely with lap blankets, a porch swing and incredibly friendly, helpful hosts. We plan to come back again!

The perfect cabin!

We love it here so much it is becoming an annual stay for us. The cabin is very cozy with thoughtful touches and the back yard with the covered patio is so beautiful and relaxing. Pat and Mark are wonderful hosts and you are steps away from all the fun activities in Virginia City. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back next year.

Very cute cabin! Beds are comfortable. 2 cute little fridges, essentials in kitchen and bathrooms, quiet neighborhood, couldn’t hear the shower from the living room. We talked about going back and will definitely book again!!!

The property owners are amazing and thought of everything. There's not a lot in the town so they provided us with yogurt and milk and caramels and oatmeal. They really thought of everything. It was a very enjoyable stay. I would give it a five star

This place is so lovely and was the perfect location and size for an overnight for my family and I on our way through the area. We appreciated the snacks and fairly well-stocked kitchen for cooking our meals. Virginia City is such a gem and it was fun to have a little extra time there because of this comfortable, well-taken-care-of cabin. Thanks!

We enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was very comfortable and inviting…..charming. It was neat and clean. Everything we needed was there. Fresh flowers from the yard…nice touch.I enjoyed having my coffee outside on the porch while enjoying the beautiful landscape and listening to the birds chirping.Pat made us granola for early morning breakfast. She also made us rhubarb streusel after she picked the rhubarb from her garden. Mark and Pat were great hosts. Always available if we needed anything, but not intrusive.

A perfect cabin!

We loved this place. It was so convenient to walk to all of the great activities Virginia City has to offer and such a relaxing place to return to. The backyard and porch are like an oasis. Pat’s attention to details makes the cabin even more special. Can’t imagine a better place to stay in Virginia City and we’ve already booked it for a weekend next summer. Thank you!

The way it should be

Beautiful home, comfortable beds, fantastic hosts. I wish this rental was at every destination. Extremely clean with beautiful decor and everything we needed. The cabin is just a short walk from everything in Virginia City and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our 18 year old daughter loved the loft over the living room. She said the bedding was comfortable and the loft stayed cool with the provided fan. Even with no air conditioning, the cabin was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

This property was perfect for our "girl time" together (3 of ua)! The easy walk to town, beautiful backyard gardens, and canine "hostess" Juni B were much appreciated "bonuses"! This small cabin is very well stocked with all the necessary items and we would definitely choose to stay again. One note of caution: if you are in any way compromised in walking or movement the two loft areas (with double beds?) might not be for you.

Comforting Oasis

You'll not want to leave the backyard. The back porch looks over beautiful flowerbeds, landscaping, and large trees, which provide ample shade throughout the day.

Peaceful get away

Exceeded our expectations. The place provides so much “bang for your buck”. Was super clean, larger than it looks, fresh coffee with cream in the fridge. Very quiet. The landscaping and porch swing & rocking chairs on the back porch were delightful. Hosts were friendly, kind, & accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy, comfortable home for the weekend

We had a wonderful time at this little cabin, which was surprisingly spacious with 2 loft beds, two bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen. The porch was lovely for warm afternoons, and the fireplace was cozy when it got chilly. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Getaway

We loved our stay in this cozy cabin nestled in this quaint mountain village. The cabin was pristine clean, warm, had all the amenities we needed, the host was accommodating and welcoming. The area was quiet and the sky was beaming with bright stars. We highly recommend this cabin as a fantastic weekend getaway.
