Your country home away from home!

Our property is in a peaceful country setting away from the hustle, bustle of busy everyday living. Travelers enjoy an escape into the country in a relaxing, cozy home complete with everything needed to unwind in comfort. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, a large family room, kitchen, dining area, and laundry room. There is a large front porch for just sitting and watching the birds, deer, and world go by. There is spacious parking enough for trailers with boats, and multile cars. There is also a large yard with a fenced in play area for children or pets, and a basketball goal!! Wheeler Lake's Anderson Creek public boat launch area is only 1 mile from the home and Elk River's boat launch area is less than 3 miles away. The lake is a premier fishing destination in the US, hosting many national tournaments. Guests may also fish from the bank and swim in the lake. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and there is a double bed in the third bedroom. Altogether, the home sleeps 6 people comfortably. All linens are provided. The house has beautiful hardwood floors throughout the family room and bedrooms, a flatscreen TV and DVD player are in the family room also. Each room is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has a large table that seats 6, refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, and all utensils and dishes guests will need. There is also a full cookware set. Joe Wheeler State Park is only 7 miles from the house. There, guests may rent pontoon or fishing boats, as well as enjoy a beautifully maintained 18 hole golf course, play tennis, bike, or hike the trails. Quaint downtown Rogersville offers many shops and restaurants (see video link). This is the perfect place for a restful, country getaway and we have the perfect home in which to spend your next vacation!
