Wavesong Cottage has been in our family since it was built in 1994. The master suite was added in 2006. Nestled in the Manistee National Forest along Lake Michigan, it is a spacious cottage with high ceilings and a spectacular view of Lake Michigan that just swallows you up in its beauty. Come and enjoy the multi tiered deck which is a great place to hang out and have a few drinks, play a game, or experience the most spectacular sunsets you have ever seen. Spend time connecting with family around the fire pit or play a game of corn hole while listening to the waves crash on the beach. Private stairs lead you down to private beach. Spend the day exploring nearby Manistee and stroll down the boardwalk along the water ending at House of Flavors for a scoop of ice cream or take in the local farmers market. If you're interested in golf, Manistee National and Manistee Country Club are only 10 minutes away.
Cuddle up in the massive Master Suite and wash off the sand in the spacious walk-in dual headed tile shower, have your morning coffee outside the sliding glass door with a perfect view of the lake. Enjoy the open cottage floor plan with friends and family while everyone is gathered around the fireplace to take in a delicious meal made in the newly remodeled kitchen. It is a comfortable and airy space to get away from it all!
You can also visit several nearby county parks Magoon Creek Park and Sundling Park as well as the Manistee state beaches all within a 10 minute drive.
