Fun and Quirky - Large Apartment, Fair Price, Close to many Restaurants
The apartment itself is fun and spacious. Much larger than some other hotels and stays seemed for the price. The location requires some walking to see the main tourist attractions (which wasn’t a problem for us because it’s a nice way to experience the city!), or you can easily take the metro if walking isn’t your thing.
We loved the food in the 11th arrondissement! So many great places within a 10 minute walk of the flat. The neighborhood is far less touristy than those closer to the Eiffel or city center. We felt safe the whole time.
The reasons why I can’t give a 5 star is because of the construction and check in. The complex was under construction so we were waken up early and had workers right outside the window for a couple days. We weren’t around much during the day, so it wasn’t a huge deal - but unfortunate timing. The check-in process was also unfortunate - because the posting said we could check in at 4. Our flight landed at 2, so we got in the area at 3:30. The host messaged a couple days beforehand saying she couldn’t check in until 6-7, so we were stuck sitting around the area with our luggage for 3+ hours.
Overall happy with the experience and flat! Just those two hiccups.
