Unclean and dishonest

.... The dirtiness of the apartment caused me to have an asthma attack during the initial 48 hours of my stay. It was impossible to sleep as the mattress sat close to the floor. The apartment possesses fibre grass flooring. Beneath the flooring, I found macadamia shells, dust bunnies and general filth. I cleaned the apartment. On the second night of no sleep and persistent coughing, I contacted the owner, asking for access to a vacuum cleaner. At 6:30 a.m., I vacuumed the floor, and the owner only then organised for the apartment to be cleaned. (The owner promised to return my cleaning fee, but she refused as I had left make-up stains on the two old white towels and face washers. She also accused me of stealing her bath mat. I live in Australia! Seriously...)
... You need to walk up 96 stairs to reach the apartment. If you are unwell and a little unsteady on your feet, this will be a problem.
... My only request for the stay was a functioning iron. I contacted the owner a week prior to my arrival regarding the iron. Unfortunately, the iron available to me was dangerous and nonfunctioning (I have an image of the iron. Unfortunately, Stayz does not enable snaps to be attached to reviews.)
... There is a large hole in the top right corner of the bed/living room; this is so the water tank will fit in the space. Please do not leave any valuables under the tank as it infrequently leaks water.
... On a positive note, The Marais is a gorgeous district!
