Excellent quiet location

Great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet location. Hosts are excellent and the gardener leaves you a bunch of bananas every few days. We have booked again so that says it all.

Beautiful area

Beautiful quiet location surrounded by a banana plantation. Peaceful, excellent pool and surrounding area. Two supermarkets nearby, we preferred the smaller of the two, Super Dino a very friendly helpful staff. We had a hire car so able to reach all points of interest with ease.

I can’t recommend this property enough, beautiful views, clean, quiet and Carmen is just the most amazing, friendly happy person. We had the most amazing time, and we are booking again to come back. The pool is big and clean. We had the most perfect holiday!!! Thank you Carmen!!!

La Casita is a lovely traditional Canarian property on a banana plantation, it has fantastic out door space, several terraces and great views and is lovely and quite.Ariel showed us around the property when we arrived. Pool is shared with the main house on the plantation but we didnt find this an issue as there was plenty of space and sun longers around the pool.Carmen is the host and was very pleasant to deal with and on the odd occasion we contacted her, her response was pretty much straight away.If your looking for modern with air conditioning this is not for you but if you want traditional Canarian stye property and a great host this is the place for you.We will definitely return

Fabulous holiday in all tranquility.

Perfectly located "casita" for those who want to discover "the other face of Tenerife". Very friendly and correct host, someone waiting on arrival to explain everything considering our stay,... A little refurbishing would take it to an even higher level but the quietness, terrasses (4!), cool atmosphere, natural surrounding (trees, birds,...) makes this worth 5 stars! Special thanks to Ariel who keeps this "secret garden" in perfect shape.

Wonderful stay in La Casita

Great experience from start to finish. Carmen’s communications were excellent. La Casita is all as described and more. Beautifully situated in a quiet banana plantation with great outdoor space from a roof top sun terrace, to bedroom balconies and a great ground floor eating area with bbq. Plus a fantastic pool. House was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend and return.

A little gem

Just arrived back from a gorgeous weeklong stay here. We didn’t want to leave. We would like to keep it our little secret but we cannot recommend it enough! We stayed in the cottage, which was neat, clean and beautifully cool downstairs with fabulous balconies for viewing sun up and sun down. The views, birds and flora are amazing – perfect for a quiet get away. The owners Carmen and her husband were very welcoming and always at hand if we needed them, plus lovely Filipe was on site if we needed him to identify birds and plants. We did not do much exploring there is plenty to do, but instead we lazed by the pool chatting, reading and soaking up the sun. The nearby grocery stores were just fine, both had excellent fish/meat counters and Carmen provided a store cupboard with all of the basics. Already booking for next year – looking forward to more outdoors cooking on that huge barbecue. Thanks Carmen!

Magical Place

This is a second year we have stayed in La Casita and shortly put, we will be returning next year as well. The house is perfectly secluded on a small banana plantation but yet close to all anemities and attractions Tenerife has to offer. You are about 35min from the airport, 25min to fantastic family beach at the Costa Adeje (parking is available at purpose-built car parks which are less than 2min walk away from the beach). Costa Adeje also offers variety of shops, bars and reasturants so ideal for spending whole day put. You can also spend some time at the local beach which is less than 5min drive away but the current cam be quite strong and the beach can get really busy with tourists and locals alike. However, if swimming in the sea is not for you, you can make use of a shared pool available on the plantation. The pool water is cool and refreshing especially after basking in the sun and the pool and the area are well maintained, always clean and organised. The views from and around the villa are simply breathtaking, you have sea views on one side and majestic El Teide volcano on the other. Star gazing is spectacular from the top terrace and if you are lucky and plan your trip well, you will be able to experience dramatic moonrise from behind El Teide which you will never experience anywhere else. In terms of local amenities, you have a small local superstore as well as huge superstore less than 5min drive from the villa. Both offer good variety of fresh meats, fruits and

We found the house in a very dirty condition and spent a lot of time cleaning the floors, worktops and tables. The bathroom stunk of sewerage and the beds were very rickety with very low quality bedding. Sleep was very hard to come by as there were no mosquito nets and we were bitten every night. The acoustics of the adjoining property made even light conversation from other guests seem as though they were in the our bedroom and sleep was impossible until they had retired. Outside dining was almost impossible due to the swarms of flies. The washing m/c ruined some of our clothes. The electric cooker had no instructions and was very hard to use. The general quality of the cutlery and crockery left a lot to be desired. but the fridge did keep the beer cold, and the pool was nice. All in all a very poorly maintained property that needs some investment and better management to bring it up to an acceptable standard.

Es la primera vez que tenemos un huésped que es una pesadilla. Negamos que sean ciertos sus comentarios. Le pregunté el segundo día via e-mail cómo había encontrado la casa y me responde:”We are pleased with the house”. A la semana de estancia solicita sábanas y toallas nuevas y se le entregan sin ningún coste. La sorpresa es que sin autorización metió a dos personas a dormir en la casa. Juan, el jardinero le preguntaba cada mañana si necesitaba algo y contestaba que todo bien.La pesadilla fué después de su marcha:Nos enviaba muchos correos chantajeándonos y amenazandonos con lo siguiente: Si no le devolvemos dinero nos pondría un comentario muy negativo, a lo cual ya no accedimos. En fin, una pesadilla. Juan y Rosa son el matrimonio que trabaja en la plantación, ella se encarga de la limpieza y me da mucha pena porque están desolados ante tanta falsedad. It is the first time we have a guest who is a nightmare. We deny that your comments are true. I asked him the second day via e-mail how he had found the house and he replied: "We are pleased with the house". The week of stay requests new sheets and towels and is delivered at no cost. The surprise is that without authorization put two people to sleep in the house. Juan, the gardener asked him every morning if he needed something and he answered that everything well. The nightmare was after his departure: He sent us many emails blackmailing us and threatening us with the following: If we do not give him back money we would put a very negative comment, which we no longer agree. In short, a nightmare. Juan and Rosa are the marriage that works in the plantation, she is in charge of the cleaning and I am very sorry because they are desolate before so much falsehood.

Positief: fijne ontvangst, fijn huis op mooie plek in verzorgde tuin. Veel zitplekjes buiten, goede douche en goed bed. Snelle reacties van de host en ondersteuning van personeel ter plaatse.We kwamen niet voor niets voor de tweede keer.Minder vond ik dat je overal om moet vragen: met een 10 daags verblijf verwacht ik bijv wel een handdoekwissel. Het meest vervelend was het feit dat het huis niet was berekend op de forse regenbuien waardoor het water naar binnen gieterde via het slaapkamerplafond, de muur van het trappenhuis en onder de deuren door. De tegelvloer werd spekglad en mijn man is van boven naar beneden gevallen in de nacht nadat de stroom was uitgevallen. We hebben 9 dagen pannen naast ons bed gehad waar je s nachts overheen moest stappen en de druppels in je nek kreeg. We kregen veel droge kleedjes, die we 2 x dag wisselden, want steeds kletsnat. Ik miste de eigen belangstelling van Carmen of we het een beetje redde in deze vervelende situatie en ook om toch iets extra’s nog te bieden om het leed wat te verzachten.

We are very sorry for what happened. There was an unusual storm in the islands (Therese) which caused a lot of damage, including to our houses and plantation. Our staff were there to help our guests at all times, providing them with towels, mats, and anything else they needed. We hope you enjoy good weather next time you visit Tenerife.

Heerlijk huisje op prachtige plek

We hebben genoten van het huisje op een prachtige rustige plek. Dorp, strand en winkels op loopsafstand. En de host reageerde heel snel als we een vraag hadden. Maison typique canarienne

La propriété correspond bien à la description de l'annonce. Elle se situe dans un quartier calme et charmant, au coeur d'une bananeraie. L'accès en voiture est un peu difficile et pentu mais c'est une particularité de toute l'ile de Ténériffe. La maison est propre et très spacieuse pour 4 personnes. Nous avons pu profité de l'accès à la piscine. Merci Carmen pour ce séjour très agréable dans votre maison canarienne. Une adresse que nous gardons précieusement pour nos prochains voyages sur l'ile de Ténériffe.

Super schöner Urlaub

Eine spaische Finca wie man sie sich vorstellt. Der Hausmeister hat sich täglich um das Objekt gekümmert. Gut gelegen, aber Auto ist notwendig. Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würden wiederkommen.

Super Lage sehr schön

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Richtiges Urlaubsfeeling. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen aber hat seinen Charme. Die ganze Anlage sieht sehr schön aus. Der Pool ist toll. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und würden wieder kommen. Carmen und ihre Mitarbeiter sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Um jedes Anliegen wurde sich sofort gekümmert. Carmen liegt das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am Herzen. Klare Weiterempfehlung!!!!

Het spijt ons zeer dat u, ondanks de goede communicatie die wij hebben gehad, bij het brengen van de gratis bananen niet om meer theedoeken heeft gevraagd. Het is niet waar dat er geen drinkwater is en we plaatsen altijd een rol toiletpapier in elke badkamer(2). Er zijn twee koffiemachines, waarvan één met capsules.
