Ultimate Adirondack Getaway ~ Private Pool and Hot Tub!

Salt water pool!!!!!

Enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks in this handcrafted custom log home set on the beautiful Schroon River in the lower Adirondack Mountains. Located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes from Lake George. This home features a large deck overlooking the river. Two car garage.

View of the water from every room in the house. Hardwood and ceramic floors, central air conditioning. Great room has a wood burning fireplace. Master bedroom has a gas fireplace and French doors out to the deck. Master bath features a custom built walk in stone 'cave' shower with 2 sets of body jets and rainfall shower heads. Fully equipped Alderwood kitchen with granite countertops and island. Double wall ovens, dishwasher, five burner gas cook-top and French doors out to the deck. Washer and dryer off the kitchen. Upstairs has a full bath and 2 bedrooms each with a private balcony and queen beds. The loft has a queen sofa sleeper. Basement has 2 more bedrooms each with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed and one bunk bed, family room, bar, bathroom, air hockey and foseball tables. Cable TV in all bedrooms.

Off the basement is an 8 person hot tub ( under the deck ) and an outdoor fire pit over looking the beach area. Left side of the backyard is our Salt water pool overlooking the river with views downstream. The pool goes from 3.5 feet to 5 feet and has a tanning ledge. Beach has a dock and 2 canoes. This home is located in a quiet residential area. We encourage travelers to view our location using the map feature. ( Note - we only rent full weeks from the middle of June through the end of August )

Amazing stay!

Location was easy to get to. The house was beautifully decorated and located right on the water. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils so it was easy to cook for the whole group! We had a great time staying here :) 10/10

Gals' getaway

Beautiful venue, with amazing outdoor amenities. Fabulous pool, hot tub and firepit. Fantastic environment to spend some time with family and friends. The location is right off the highway with easy access to many stores and local fun spots like Lake George and Diamond Point. The owners are so attentive and responsive both during the booking process and during the stay. We loved it so much, we booked it again for our 2026 trip.

Beautiful home

Stayed for our friends bachelorette. It was a beautiful home. Master bedroom bed was very load and uncomfortable but other rooms were comfy. The view was amazing. Overall would definitely stay again.

Great Kitchen and location Nearby trails and hiking, close to Lake George and attractions. Needs a few more forks and we cooked so much another dishwasher would be a plus floors could use more insulation-some what noisy for sleep with kids and pets. Nice place to stay.

Good place to stay during this time; close to everything but yet private. Kids, big and little had a good time in the water, especially after Bill brought over the floating mat. The only reason for 4 stars is there are a few minor things that need attention. Response from owners is excellent. Already booked for next year!

Magical Place!

First of all this place is even better than the pictures show. The house sits on a beautiful river and the house itself is just gorgeous! Also being from Florida the 17 plus inches of snow made for an amazing trip for us. It was a magical winter wonderland and we loved every second. Bill and Niki were amazing hosts and made it feel like home for us and our doggies. Love this place! We didnt want to leave! We will definitely be back.

What an amazing home,plenty of space for all 14 of us. The river was great we enjoyed fishing in the mornings we even connected 3 tubes together and floated! Water was still pretty cold. Hot tube was great too. The home had everything we needed. Would highly recommend

The location eclipsed the eclipse!

Eight members of our family- 5 adults/3 children- had an "Ultimate Adirondack Getaway" for the weekend of the eclipse. The kids especially were excited to be in a "Lincoln Log" house with every kid-pleasing amenity they could imagine, and plenty of space to spread out. The adults loved the peace and quiet, just listening to birds and watching the river from the deck. Oh, and the eclipse was pretty cool too.

Best Weekend Ever

As the title implies - best weekend ever!! Booked Niki’s place for my bachelorette and stayed with a large group of girls. I was already excited based on the pictures of the listing but when we arrived the home only exceeded all of our expectations. The home was just as pictured (if not better) and the view is absolutely STUNNING, pictures do not do it justice. The perfect property for a getaway/retreat without being too far from things. So tranquil and relaxing. Niki was absolutely wonderful to communicate with - helpful, pleasant, and quick to respond. Truly a 10/10 stay!

Large family group

Overall positive stay at the cabin. We had a large group and had plenty of space to be comfortable. It was really nice having access to the river and boats and kayaks. We also appreciated the large floor plan with plenty of space for our large group. As other reviews note the 3 different floors has vastly different temperatures but the owners do their best to control for this by adding space heaters. This property could use some TLC but the communication and responsiveness from the owner during our stay was appreciated

Amazing Location, Great House, Sweet Hosts

Our stay was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. The house was very comfortable for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked with most every cooking tool we needed. The hosts checked in a few times to make sure things were okay. Overall an amazing time in a beautiful house. There were a few complaints that the downstairs bedrooms got very cold at night. Would recommend some tips be included as to how to prevent that. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for opening your home to our group.

The Best Time!

We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! There was plenty of room to spread out for my husband and I, our kids, and grandkids.. totaling 13. The beds and pillows were very comfy, which is important to us. The basement is a little chillier than the rest of the house but is set up with nice space heaters which made it just fine! The kayaks and canoes were a huge hit as well as the air hockey, foosball, and arcade games. The kids just loved them! The view was our favorite thing! It is Absolutely Beautiful!! The river was very serene and tranquil. The kitchen and its supplies were awesome, with a nice thoughtful touch of ingredients left for us for smores. And the fireplaces were so relaxing. The hosts were so nice. Just a Great place to stay! We will definitely want to stay here again!!

Fantastic Location

We loved this home! We were in town for a wedding and had an extended family of 16 staying in the home. Absolutely loved the view of the river and the kayaks and canoes were an absolute bonus, we used them several times a day, really big highlight in addition to the firepit and the hot tub. The kitchen was so well stocked to make anything you needed, nothing was missing. The three floor layout allowed for us all to spread out without being on top of each other. Check in and check out was simple and the hosts were very communicative. Plenty of driveway space for several cars. Also loved being a 12 minute drive from Lake George. There was simply nothing not to love...and the view, priceless! We highly recommend!!

Great Family Vacation!

The house was wonderful for our group of 10: ages 16 months to 68. Many thoughtful touches throughout - from fixin's for s'mores to bathroom amenities baskets. Ample pool towels, pool and hot tub very clean, lots of fun toys. Kitchen incredibly well stocked. River was higher than normal due to heavy rains with strong currents so kayak/canoe outings were limited but still plenty to do both at the house and in the area. Hiked Hackensack Mountain and went tubing (Tubby Tubes) on the Hudson which was very relaxing and fun. Short drive to Lake George to browse stores. Quick trip to grocery & liquor stores. If you need a quiet house, however, this isn't it. You can hear every footstep overhead from the basement and first floor bedrooms. Not a big deal if everyone is on close to the same schedule and it did not ruin our fun at all or keep the kids awake. Wifi great - our son had to work two days and had no problem. View from the deck and opportunity to eat out there is amazing. Highly recommend!!
