Charming place in a great location

We came together for my mother's 80th birthday. Family of 15 from around the world. The place is charming, lovely location, close to a lovely town, pool is super. Gardens beautifully looked after. Hosts were also very responsive.

Rustic and charming in beautiful location

The property is set about 1 km along a gravel track about 30 mins walk from Plan de la Tour. It is well laid out and spacious for our group of 10 people. There are plenty of seating areas, a nice pool and we had a very relaxing time. It’s a beautiful area, very quiet. Plan de la Tour is pretty and has a nice selection of cafes and restaurants, 3 bakeries/pattiseries and has lovely cobbled streets. There is a wonderful market on Thursday mornings. The house is spacious and very comfortable. 7 of the bedrooms are a good size and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed is extremely small with only room for the bed and nothing else. One twin bedroom at the far end of the property doesn’t have any air conditioning. We had some problems on arrival with only 6 bedrooms available for use with the owners assumption that because there was only 10 people, we wouldn’t need all the bedrooms!! This was resolved the next day but it meant some family members had to share rooms for 1 night. I would suggest checking with the owner that all rooms will be available before you travel. We also had a problem with only 4 sunbeds being available by the pool, one broken and another falling apart. The owner quickly resolved with 4 new sunbeds arriving the next day, however we had to spend all morning putting them together. The pool area is lovely though, with sheltered seating and a pool kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, etc. There were plenty of pool toys, inflatables, balls to play with.
