Accidents happen—please notify us promptly so we can address them. A carpet shampooer is available for minor cleanups.

As part of the beautiful Outer Banks coastal environment, you may occasionally notice local wildlife (including insects), despite regular pest control. If anything seems out of the ordinary, we’re happy to help right away.

Great Location

This was our 3rd time staying at salty dog, we just love the location and all of the amenities. The home is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family vacation. The host is very gracious and responsive. The only thing that didn’t cooperate this year was the weather 🌧️, but there’s nothing anyone can do about that. Thank you for allowing our family to stay at salty dog! 😊

Great two week family vacation! This house was perfect. The dogs and kids loved the beach, the pool, the hot tub. Walk was short and easy. Even for a Dad with arms full to the brim. Beach was never more than 20 families at a time. Made for fun without a crowd!Owners were responsive to every question. House was all that we wanted for our family. Hard to find homes this close to the beach for just one family and this was perfect for that.

Excellent

Our family and dog stayed here for a week. It was SO clean, well-stocked kitchen, great pool, outdoor shower and feet washing area, and large shaded car port area where we washed off the shells we collected. Lovely Ocean Sands development with no safety concerns at all. We could stay here and never eat out with Harris Teeter grocery store nearby and kitchen full of anything you'd need to prepare and serve a meal. With the local Fresh produce at nearby farm stand, we loved it! 2 minute walk to the beach!
