Good property and close/easy access to Arena where our hockey camp was. Solid property for the money. No washer and dryer, but Laundry World is right down the street. Good house for 2 families to share.

Nice place to stay. A little dated but it worked out great. Pictures and description needs to be updated. There is to bathrooms with a shower, not one.

Finding a true sanctuary while traveling can often feel like a game of chance, but our recent stay at the country-life house in Markham, Illinois, was nothing short of a revelation. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, it was clear that this was not merely a place to sleep, but a thoughtfully curated experience designed for comfort, peace, and aesthetic delight. The house itself is a masterclass in residential design. It strikes a rare, harmonious balance between rustic charm and modern sophistication. The architecture feels intentional, with an open-concept layout that invites natural light to dance across every corner of the living space. The interior design is impeccable; every piece of furniture, every texture, and every color palette has been chosen with a discerning eye. It feels like a home that has been lived in and loved, yet it maintains a pristine, boutique-hotel level of cleanliness that is truly impressive. The attention to detail—from the high-quality linens to the curated decor—elevates the property far above the standard rental experience. It is a space that encourages you to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the surroundings. However, a house is only as good as the heart behind it, and in this case, that heart is our host, Kathy. To say she was outstanding would be an understatement. Kathy possesses that rare, intuitive gift of hospitality that makes a guest feel instantly welcomed and entirely at ease. This property is a premier choice. See ya soon.
