La Vue SXM - 3 bedroom Modern Oceanfront Villa near Restaurant & Beach

Note: *Construction of new resort started February 2024. Beach and restaurant are untouched. The construction is down from the hill from our villa. Please only book this villa if you do not mind possible construction noise during the week. We value our guests and our 5 star reviews. Please communicate with us so we can make your stay incredible. Construction is planned to continue until 2028/2029. The status always changes so we can't guarantee what is happening the day of your arrival*

La Vue SXM offers first time and seasoned travelers to Sint Maarten an escape to the eye of the island. Offering the luxury of a hotel, and the comfort of a home.

The villa is located in a quiet upscale neighborhood in pristine Indigo Bay. Just a few meters from the semi-private beach, this property also offers a private infinity pool and large neighboring communal pool. Perfect for young kids and adults as it gradually deepens to 6.5 feet. The two floor villa comes with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and spacious terrace with pool views. A brand new washer and dryer is located on the lower level. We also have high security in the community, with a 24/7 security guard and car gates for entering or leaving the area.

La Vue SXM is located on the lowest row of villas, closest to the beach and to Indigo Beach Restaurant. Proximity to the ocean breeze and to incredible food is a must, especially for those short weekends when you don't care to be a tourist but rather dine like the locals.

Amazing view

This place has such an amazing view. You will love coming back here after exploring the island. Very modern house with a gourmet kitchen and everything you need. Cook an amazing meal and relax on the back porch with a cocktail. Life couldn't get much better.

Luxury condo on Indigo Bay

Beautifully decorated, very well stocked condo in Indigo Bay. Lovely views of the bay and islands beyond from the living room and dining area. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the hill. Our only regret was that we didn't get to enjoy Philip's cooking in our short stay.

Wow!!!

The villa was even more spectacular than the photos! Gorgeous home with EVERYTHING you could want or need, down to shampoo, shower gel, All Clad cookware, a coffee machine and Nespresso, foil and spices. The bedrooms were well appointed, with comfy beds and nice linens. Also very quiet, with the ocean and tree frogs to lull you to sleep. Great AC in the bedrooms. There was ample patio furniture, and the pool was perfect for cooling off. The beach was a 10 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) and was clean, uncrowded, and soft sand. The restaurant on the beach was really convenient, rented chairs and umbrellas, and served nice food and tasty drinks. Friendly service, too. Location was great - 15 minutes to the grocery store, and a pretty good restaurant (Mark’s Place), 20-25 minutes to Philipsburg or Simpson’s Bay or Maho. Note: parking at the villa was perfect - driving on SXM is not for the faint of heart lol. Lots of hills and roundabouts. Traffic was also bananas because of the Christmas holiday - bumper to bumper, but we got where we wanted to go. Communication with the owner and villa manager was excellent. Very responsive and helpful! I had a ton of questions, and got them all answered. Phillip was outstanding. He was a great villa manager, and also an AMAZING chef. The dinner he prepared for us just excellent. Steak, fish, ramen soup, beet salad… so delicious. All in all it was a really good stay. We spent 11 nights, and they flew by! If you need a Covid test, there is a big tent right at the airport. I believe the cost is around $100. We used the e-med tests we bought online and brought with us. You take the test with an online proctor watching. Accepted by the airlines.

A little bit of heaven

We booked this villa on line and were very happy with the condition of the villa. It was decorated beautifully and equipped with every possible item. The property manager was very attentive and quickly answered all our questions. We had the private chef cook dinner for us on Friday night and it was excellent. We would highly recommend this property. Looking forward to a future visit!!

Paradise!

La Vue was excellent and the hospitality was above and beyond what we expected. The property itself was perfect - the pictures online don't capture how great the place is. The location is excellent - very easy to get to town either Phillispburg or Simpson bay and 10-20 minutes away from most beaches you would want to access on the French side. The kitchen is fully equipped - I've never stayed at a VRBO who's kitchen was better equipped. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were fabulous - the infinity pool is such a nice touch and 5 foot deep to appeal to all levels. The check in process and communication with the property manager (Justyna) was very smooth and extremely prompt. I hope to bring my family back to SXM and if we do, we will most definitely stay at La Vue.
