Welcome to Breezy Days OBX, a four-bedroom Rodanthe retreat just steps from the Atlantic Ocean and next to the historic Rodanthe Pier w/ included pier passes with your stay!

Spend your days at the beach, relax in the private pool, or soak in the seven-person hot tub while taking in the ocean view. Multiple decks offer views of both the ocean and sound, while the ship’s watch provides a remarkable 360-degree view of Hatteras Island and its sunsets.

The home sleeps up to 10 guests.

COMFORT AND ENTERTAINMENT

Each bedroom has a 40-inch or larger smart TV, allowing guests to sign in to our complementary Netflix account, or your own preferred streaming service. The home also includes a DVD player and huge movie collection, puzzles, games, and books for quieter evenings.

Bed linens and bath towels are provided. Guests will also receive a starter supply of dish soap, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, and laundry detergent.

POOL AND HOT TUB

The private pool is available seasonally from April 15 through October 15. Pool heat is available for an additional charge and must be arranged and paid for at least 48 hours in advance.

The seven-person hot tub is available throughout the year.

Breezy Days is positioned for beach days, fishing, surfing, swimming, shell hunting, paddleboarding, kite flying, and soundside sunsets. In the fall, bring a warm blanket and finish the evening with s’mores around a permitted beach bonfire while listening to the waves.

Because Hatteras Island can experience weather-related travel disruptions, guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance and review the cancellation policy before booking.

Nice place in great location

We really enjoyed our stay from the no contact check in process to the space of the house. The kids loved having their own rooms and it was a short walk to the ocean beach. It was nice being so close to the beach but not absolutely covered in sand all the time.

This home was beautiful. We loved having the access of a pool, hot tub, and beach. Michelle and Danny were very friendly, easy to talk to, and responded very quickly to any questions. We hope to make this a yearly destination!

The house was beautiful! Easy access to everything you need. It’s just a few steps to the beach or a private pool. The rooftop deck provides stunning views of the sunrise and sunset! We will be back!! Highly recommend!

Fabulous vacation

We loved staying at Breezy Days! The pool is amazing as is the hot tub. The start up supplies provided was plenty for our week stay and the supplies I brought were never unpacked. We enjoyed the views from the top deck as well as the Crows Nest. The walk to the beach was fine. The high tide surprised us the first day because of how far it came in but we still enjoyed the beach. We also loved the assortment of games and puzzles! Very peaceful and relaxing vacation!

Quick Family Trip

Overall we had a really nice time and would stay again. The hosts provided beach towels and things like soap, laundry detergent etc. which was nice and the beds were really comfortable. There were crumbs on the sofa and some ants when we arrived, but otherwise clean and tidy. The beach access is close, but a little difficult to use. You can easily take the road if you don't mind a few extra minutes walk time.

The house was meticulous. We loved our whole experience. Michelle always answered questions I had in a timely manner. My grandsons loved the pool. They were in it from morning until evening. My daughter and her husband enjoyed the hot tub every night. It was very quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this house.

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend with Family

House was welcoming and very close to the beach. Our family has a wonderful time. Dan and Michelle were great with communication! We were arriving on Thursday, started communication on Tuesday to alert us of the tropical storm headed to the island. Update us with current status, safety and made necessary adjustment to our original plan to accommodate the last minute changes needed to happen. We are very appreciative of their prompt response to our questions. Would love to come back again when we can!

Girls Weekend Getaway

The girls in our family decided to plan a last minute beach getaway and this property was absolutely perfect!! Although not right on the beach, it’s only a row or two back and a very short walk! Home was very clean and laid out perfectly and had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy one another’s company!!! We got to the property early and I messaged to see if we could go ahead and check in. Since the cleaners weren’t done, we parked at the property and walked around the area. Communication was quick and thoughtful! I would most definitely Rex come my this home and hope to visit the area again, so that I can be a repeat customer!!!

Peaceful Family Stay

The rental was great. It is situated in a quaint, peaceful little area we really enjoyed. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. You do need to bring your own shampoo and soap for showering, however, this doesn't bring our rating down whatsoever. We had a little hiccup with the pool not being heated the first day, but due to storms the day before, we understood maintenance was doing their best to make their rounds. The host was quick to respond to our messages throughout our stay. My kids loved spending the evenings in the heated pool. My youngest also learned to swim while we were there. We recommend Oceanas Bistro for lunch/dinner, sand boarding at Jockeys Ridge, and shelling on the beach. Overall, our stay was perfect. Highly recommend!

Very very dirty and run down, did not have the advertised 4 baths

Overall this was not what was expected. From the false advertisement of 4 bathrooms on the VRBO site (there were 2.5 bathrooms) to the overall completely run down living space, outdated appliances to generally incredibly dirty home. There were crumbs still on the counter under the toaster, we could not use the oven without filling the house with smoke. The pool cleaner came once the morning of check in and never again. Overall the stay was significantly impacted by the cleanliness and run down home.

We are sorry the home didn’t meet your expectations. We could have easily sent housekeeping company back out to the home if you had let us know you were not satisfied with the cleanliness. I’ve let them know about the crumbs under the toaster as I’m sure it was an over site on their part. As for the bathrooms the listing describes a Bathroom on the top floor a bathroom on the bottom floor a half bath on the bottom color and an outdoor shower. I can understand the confusion as VRBO classifies that as a 4 bathroom. The home had a complete remodel in May and the bottom floor is completely new drywall flooring and restrooms. Along with a brand new staircase and shiplap walls. The kitchen cabinets and counters were installed in March. Dishwasher was purchased one year ago, stove is 3 months old and refrigerator is 3 years old so we’ll take in your suggestion of updating that appliance. Thank you for your recommendation.

Wonderful OBX vacay home

We absolutely loved our stay at Breezy Days! We loved the proximity to: the beach, the Rodanthe Pier (live music!), The Waves Deli and Market, and the Kitty Hawk Kites shop. The house was the perfect size for our group of 9 people; 4 adults, two tweens and 3 little ones. I loved that the doors didn't creak so we didn't have to worry about waking the baby. The house was so clean and linens and towels were well-stocked. The fridge had an ice maker and the tap water tasted great. All appliances worked well. There are so many games!!! The big table was wonderful for meals and game time. The leather couches were great. The three-level deck was awesome and the view from top deck was especially great. We were lucky to stay during a new moon and the stars were beautiful.The pool was so clean and in the perfect location for the sun. There were lots of floats and noodles for the kiddos. The outdoor spigot and shower were well-functioning and in good shape.The only thing we had a hard time with was the king bed on the main floor was two twin beds pushed together. We would love if it was a bed like the others in the house because we absolutely loved our stay here and hope to return in the future! Thank you so much for renting your wonderful place to us!

The host was excellent about responding quickly to any issues.House keeping was not the best. The house was not as clean as I would prefer. They also forgot to leave bedspreads for beds. The owner took care of that promptly! However, with a little clean up we got things in order. It would have been nice to have had something other than a broom to keep floors clean. The jets on inside tub did not work. A number of electrical outlets on main floor did work properly. The hot tub cover was in very poor condition and the rusty hooks made it difficult to release strap. The water was low in hot tub not covering jets. I assume this was due to previous guest not filling tub. There is a hose with very easy access to hot tub. The trash cans were both full, when we arrived so we had no where to put our trash until Tuesday after pickup. Again, previous guest did not put trash out on Friday, it appears.There were items that I understood would be furnished and they were not. There had been a change on contract after we booked. Bring your own beach towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, soaps. With all this said the house is very close to beach and we had a lovely time! The host could not have been more responsive.
