Beautiful Breeze is a 4 BR 2 BA beachfront house with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen & living rooms. It has almost 180 degree ocean view, spacious oceanfront screened porch with plenty of seating, a sunny deck area, and an outside rinse station.

This oceanfront home sleeps up to 8 people. All bedrooms have new 12 inch Medium Firm Memory Foam Queen Mattresses and bed frames.

Keyless door lock entry provides easy access to this NON-SMOKING and PET-FREE home.

Rental includes 5 ROKU Smart TVs, free high-speed Wi-Fi, board games, books, W/D, HVAC, D/W, a fully equipped kitchen, and ceiling fan/light combos throughout.

Lower level storage has some beach toys and supplies. Small outdoor utility sink and picnic table.

Basic starter cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and dish detergent provided.

This cottage is conveniently located near Middleton Park, Ocean Crest Pier, Island Way Restaurant, The Pepperoni Grill, Kings Beach shop, tennis & pickleball courts, Food Lion grocery, and Publix grocery.

Beautiful Breeze is within walking distance to Ocean Crest Pier where you can fish, rent rods, purchase bait, walk the pier, or dine at Island Way Restaurant.

Another great stay in OKI

This was our 2nd stay at Beautiful Breeze and we just love it there! Great weather, we use the deck every day and the location can’t be beat! We will be back again for sure!

Lovely house in a perfect location

This was our second year staying at Beautiful Breeze, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The house was clean, well-cared for, and problem-free, just like last time. This year we took even greater advantage of the central location (near a park, grocery store (Publix), and Oak Island's strip of amenities), and were able to bike pretty much everywhere we needed to go. What a laid-back, relaxing week!

A Breeze

Our stay at Beautiful Breeze was beautiful and easy. The home was a perfect size and layout for our group of six. The kitchen was thoughtfully outfitted. A nice deck and screened porch just steps from the ocean. Newly renovated and super clean. We would recommend to friends wishing to stay in the area.

Island Respite

When my friends and I made these reservations, we had no idea how much we would need this respite! We were blessed by the amount of dishes, small appliances, pans and utensils provided in the kitchen; we spent hours on the back porch, even in lower temps, drinking tea and watching the waves. We did jigsaw puzzles, watched movies, and read and studied in the living area. We were able to hop out and take a daily walk on the beach. Just a perfect time!

We are a fun and active family that loves to travel. We especially love warmer climates and the ocean! We live in the Midwest and look forward to our visits to Oak Island, NC. We also enjoy sharing our hidden gem in Oak Island with extended family, friends, and VRBO guests. As parents of an active teenager we enjoy watching our son play sports and being an involved Eagle Scout! When we come to Oak Island it is all about relaxing, eating fresh seafood, and enjoying the beach.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Oak Island in 2001 and have been vacationing here ever since. We are beyond thrilled to own this piece of this paradise! We love that Oak Island is full of beach cottages and homes rather than huge condos, skyscrapers and hotels. We prefer the family-oriented quiet atmosphere of Oak Island, local restaurants rather than chain restaurants, and the southern charm of Southport. Watching sunrises and sunsets from the deck is beyond beautiful. Although Oak Island has grown over the years it has not lost its small town charm. They have improved outdoor parks and recreational activities by adding tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, a small water park, walking paths, nature trails, farmers market and more. Oak Island is the best kept secret in NC!

What makes this property unique

The view of the ocean is amazing. The screened in porch is roomy and wonderful. The outside deck is great for sunbathing and relaxing. We love the location near Ocean Crest Pier, Middleton Park, close to Food Lion, restaurants and shops. If you love thrift shops then Oak Island is for you! Beautiful Breeze was first updated Jan/Feb 2020 with a new roof, new interior paint, new flooring, new beds, and new kitchen items. Then unfortunately Hurricane Isaias caused damage in August 2020. After fighting with insurance companies for over a year we are finally remodeling our home again to be ready for the 2022 Summer season! All beachfront homes have to deal with the harsh weathering due to the salt, sea, winds, storms, hurricanes, sand and sun. Thankfully we have a great crew that helps us keep up with Mother Nature!
