Lovely cottage with beautiful views of the ocean. My only suggestion would be light weight blankets for the beds.

The house was very clean and nice. I had a wonderful trip and would definitely try to rent the same house in the future. One of my favorites!

We know what to expect from 1970 cottage on the beach, but the house needs a deep clean. The first impression, the front door, was filthy. The house smelled musty and damp, maybe it had been closed up for a long time? Kitchen needs a clean out and reorganizing. Kitchen drawers and cabinets full of random old lids and containers. Hard to find a mixing bowl or a serving dish. Not a lot of space to unpack, so many pillows and Knick knacks. Ex. Primary bedroom has 3 shelves. Would have been ideal for personal items but full of figurines. There were some ants in the kitchen and palmetto bugs in family room, we know not unusual at beach, called rental company to come spray. They said they would send someone, but never did. Access to beach was excellent. View was amazing.

Excellent location. Really liked the layout of the house. However, 1 bedroom with bunk beds had mold/mildew issues in ventilation and dresser which made it unusable. Maintenance did come and spray/wipe vents, but mold smell was too strong. We didn’t use the room for our son.
