About this property

Chalet tucked in the woods 7 miles from Glacier National Park.

Newly constructed chalet completed in January 2020. Modern day build with an open floor plan including vaulted ceiling, quartz counter tops, all new furniture, and that is just the inside. You didn't come to Montana to enjoy the architecture. Hang out on the deck with seating pointed at the picturesque views of Teakettle Mountain while enjoying drinks as you cook on the Traeger grill. Or cozy up to a warm fire pit while you cheer on your team in a game of horseshoe or volleyball. Relax in a hammock under the trees while listening to the birds singing and squirrels chirping. You can usually see deer and elk coming into feed on the tall grass as they pass through.

You will find Corbett Lane Chalets nestled among tamarack, pine, and aspen trees 7 miles from the West entrance of Glacier National Park. Located 4 miles away from the Hungry Horse Reservoir which is surrounded by the Great Bear Wilderness.

The Chalets are only 4 blocks from Highway 2, where you will find restaurants, a whiskey distillery, and a tavern that features live music 3 days a week seasonally.

Traveling with kids? We are in walking distance of the Amazing Fun Center where you can spend hours traveling through a maze, playing on bumper boats, driving go carts, and playing mini golf. Have teenagers? Walk down to the Glacier Highline where you will find a obstacle course in the tree tops, zipline, and a rope swing into a pond.

Outdoor activities on your list? Fly fishing, white water rafting, hiking, swimming, boating, biking, back country flying, horseback riding, sailing, fly boarding, ATV riding, zip lining, cliff jumping and so much more, it’s all possible here in Montana. The best place to get all the details needed to book your adventures is to call the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce and ask for a visitors packet to be mailed to you free of charge!
Please call for details and we would be happy to help you plan your stay (406) 260-7084.

Take a drive through the glacier carved canyon, into the Flathead Valley. The Resort town of Whitefish is just 30 minutes away from the Chalets. Whitefish is known for their dining, recreational activities, and the boutique shops in downtown. Take a trip to Bigfork to experience Flathead Lake-the biggest lake on this side of the United States, she is breathtaking.

Vacationing in Coram Montana is a chance to escape the fast pace of the world and enjoy a slower pace of life. Our Chalets are fully equipped to provide you an experience of unparalleled comfort and enjoyment. This means you can focus on the important things: enjoying your time with friends and family. A stay with us is a chance to unwind, relax and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Great stay and close GNP West Entrance

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The kitchen is well equipped. They even provided bear spray for the park! Close to GNP West entrance and the towns of Hungry Horse, Columbia Falls and Whitefish!

Spacious retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-appointed, ultra-clean chalet. We were glad we heeded the hosts' request to put trash out only in the morning, as a momma black bear with two cubs came down to check for goodies one evening at dusk. They were very cute from inside!

Perfect Getaway by Glacier

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful, clean, cozy property. The owners thought of everything. The location was ideal - near plenty of businesses and very close to the west entrance of the park, while still feeling very remote. While there is another cabin right next door, it is so quiet, and you still felt so private. The chalet was so clean, and so inviting. We loved coming back after long days of exploring and relaxing. We can't wait to come back!

Personal Resort …

This chalet is as amazing as it reads in the listing. After our days of exploring Glacier National Park it was like returning to our personal resort … comfy bed, thick towels, well supplied, and sitting outside at the fire pit while sipping wine was so relaxing. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Stay!!

Melissa’s chalet was perfect for our Glacier Mountain trip. It was a quick drive to the park and also close to some great restaurants in Columbia falls. The house was super clean and comfortable and was stocked with anything you could think of. There is another chalet right next door on the property that is not pictured, however my husband and I were unbothered by the other guests. I would highly recommend Melissa’s place!

Cabin in the woods

Nice little cabin in the woods. All of the amenities needed. Close to fuel and grocer. 10 minutes from GNP west entrance. Off of the main road and quiet. Turkey and deer spotted in the yard. Wouldn’t change a thing. 10 of 10.

Wonderful experience

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at this property. The location is perfect for exploring the west side of GNP and the hosts have truly thought of everything you might need during your stay. The beds were extremely comfortable which was so nice after a long day hiking. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit and grilling out for dinner. My boys enjoyed having a yard to throw the football or frisbee. The only down side I can think of is that we enjoyed being at the property so much that my kids would have been happy to stay there all day and I would have to drag them out the door for the day. 😊

Perfect Chalet Getaway

As described, the interior of the chalet does look just a few years old, in other words almost new. It's obvious there's been a lot of thought put into the interior design and functionality. Most complete kitchen we've ever seen for a space this size. My wife said, "I'd think of something I needed, and she'd have it!" Super clean, bright, cheerful, homey. The backyard was inviting. Surrounded by tall evergreen trees, resting in the hammock, a fire in the firepit, roasting marshmallows for smores. The Hosts went out of their way to welcome us and make themselves available for our questions and needs. The purpose of our trip was to remove our weary bodies and minds from a very busy and stressful past 3 months... and have a relaxing time to rest and recharge in the shadow of Glacier National Park. Corbett Lane Chalet did just that for us and more. We very highly recommend!!!

Wonderful stay!

Very clean home that feels tucked away in the woods. We enjoyed having this as our base for exploring West Glacier, Kalispell, and Whitefish. Only minutes to the park so you can get an early start ahead of the mid-morning lines. The firepit was great and we so appreciated the s'mores kit and stargazing from the backyard. Melissa is the most kind and responsive host we've ever had during our 30+ stays like this! Picked up our mobile grocery order for us when we arrived late from our flight into Bozeman. Then made sure FedEx delivered my husband's suitcase to the home (it was lost by the airline the first few days of our trip) while we didn't miss a moment exploring the park. Many thanks to her and would highly recommend this home!

Gateway to Glacier!

This property was perfect for our stay with 4 adults. House is super comfy and has everyrhing you could possibly need. Great cookware, Trager grill and all other essentials. Literally 15 minutes to west gate at Glacier National Park and an easy 25 minutes into Whitefish. Coue good local joints in Coram as well and Melissa gave us solid recommendations on everyrhing we needed. Overall a definite 5 star rating. We will be back for sure as we have more to see and do in this area!

Family getaway

Melissa was great to work with! From the very first day of booking (Jan) to actual trip (Aug) she helped with all of our questions! Melissa helped with a lot of our trip plans, or gave us some good names/local contacts to reach out to. From booking horseback riding, rafting, hiking, dinner reservations, etc- she went above and beyond! House was modern and updated with all supplies needed. Cooler and picnic basket were great touches. Firepit easy to use (tub of supplies vey handy), and fun for smores and horseshoes. Very close to Glacier NP (West Entrance- GTS road), but also not a bad drive to go to East side of Glacier. Short drive to Whitefish for dinners out/additional hikes. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great vacation trip- lots of hiking and memories made!

Very responsive and helpful! The chalet was well equipped and we would certainly stay again on our next trip. Highly recommend.

Best VRBO Ever!

One of the best VRBO's we've ever stayed at. Extremely comfortable, every amenity thought of (small towels, beach towels, bear spray, welcome snacks) and very well equipped kitchen (microwave and toaster oven). The backyard was lovely and had a wonderful sitting area and fire pit. Location to the park is also unbeatable. Wifi works well, which is hard to find near national parks. It was perfect for our group of 4 to explore the park. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Perfectly located, perfectly outfitted, perfectly comfortable

I had high hopes for our stay and I was so pleased that it did not disappoint. Not one bit. We loved it and wish we'd stayed a couple more days. Can't say enough about Melissa and John's communiication (called me right after I sent a message via vrbo, easy peasy check-in, procedures/rules posted on the fridge) and the high standard they keep the chalet. I'm fussy about cleanliness and I can't think of anything that wasn't as it shouuld be. And, honestly the decor is quite creatively styled with clever use of materials- I took more than a few "idea" photos of the towel holders and bedboard for ex. The outdoor chairs were the perfect way to relax and enjoy the sun with a glass of wine/book.. Kitchen was amply supplied and my son quickly vacated most of the basket of snacks and treats left for us- perfect hiking snaacks- thank you for that little extra. We felt very comfortable lounging about and making it our space on a rainy day. Our teenage son claimed the loft bedroom- how perfect is that to have his own space? We found the location super convenient (to W Glacier entrance AND other activities like ebike rental, the adventure parks) and quiet/safe. You will appreciate the proximity to the W Glacier entrance -saves a ton of time vs. Whitefish or C. Falls. One minor suggestion: a folder with listing of or fliers for nearby restaurants/hours/menus (This isn't a complaint...Melissa, provided a variety of suggestions during our phone conversation, we changed plans based on her advice and it was a "win". One other happy accident was stumbling into Wonderstone Kitchen food truck near Columbia Falls.-fun, casual meal. Mondays it seemed lots of restaurants were closed so plan around that. Well, let me end, with a final 6 thumbs up (2 from each family member) regarding our stay. Truly a relaxing and comfortable haven for our journey. We want to come back with grandparents next time! Thank you for all the attention to detail that makes this place special.

Outstanding Experience!

We stay in a lot of VRBOs while traveling but are generally bad about reviewing our always good experiences. We are breaking with this trend to review our stay at the chalet because it was such an outstanding experience. The unit was perfect - clean, well-stocked, and modern. The owners left candy, snacks (which our kids devoured while hiking), and even fixings for s’mores (with a fire pit, chairs, wood and everything else available out back). They also provided bear spray, picnic basket, and a cooler - all incredibly helpful items to not have to acquire while traveling via plane. The owners were available to give recommendations for anything we needed. They even set up a bouncy house for our kids. I mean…talk about above and beyond! The property is very close to anything you might want to do in West Glacier. We also explored East Glacier/Polebridge and honestly didn’t mind the 1-2 hour drive (most of it scenic). We had an amazing time on this trip and thank our hosts for everything they did to make it wonderful!

Great Place to Enjoy Glacier!!!

We really enjoyed our time in the rental! The Chalet was beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. The owners were thoughtful about the amenities and even left us a welcome basket! They have bear spray for your use as well. Very good communication and even warned us well in advance about the rental car shortage around Glacier. Overall, a great place to stay!
