Our stay was amazing, we had a blast here. The house was clean and well kept, and the hospitality was above and beyond. The host provided everything we needed and more. I could not recommend a better place to stay.

Property is beautifully kept. The cows were delightful to watch. The owner and his daughter could not have been any better hosts. Communication was always prompt and pleasant. We had tweens with us that had a blast roaming the property. The view from every part of the property was heavenly. They have everything in the kitchen you could possibly need to cook with. They even had Tony’s seasoning which made my Louisiana heart pretty happy. I don’t usually sleep well away from home but there was such peace in this house, I slept great.

If your looking for peace and quite with a view with in a few miles of several local attractions then this is the place for you. Clean, host were friendly and the view top tier. Will return for a stay again.

This was everything we were looking for. The house is set up perfect and the hosts are prompt and very helpful. If you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway with amazing scenery and privacy the Rock House is where you’ll find it.

The host was helpful and gracious. The house was in excellent condition, clean, and well stocked with basic housing needs. There was information about the local trails to hike. The river access was an added benefit. It was a peaceful and relaxing location. The scenery is beautiful.

We loved everything about this property and location! Peaceful, scenic, mountain fresh air, and the creek! This is a place we will certainly come back to. Fantastic cabin, everything you need. My family enjoyed 3 nights last September in this lovely home. Exactly as pictured, rooms were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. There is also a fireplace and BBQ. It was so easy to book and check-in. Amy was always very helpful and quick to respond. Her father, John, stopped by to welcome us and share helpful information. He setup wood for the fire-pit for our entire stay. Both were happy to go out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. Fun seeing the cows visit us. Easy walk through the cow field to the river from the house or you can drive. We loved watching the day end at the fire-pit with the stars and moon coming out and mountain shadows. Great location, we enjoyed dinner at Jasper nearby, and hiked every day. There is a book in the house describing local hikes and other activities. We hiked Whitaker Point (Hawksbill Crag), Lost Valley Trail and Glory Hole Falls and drove through Boxley Valley looking for Elk (didn't see any). Wifi is very good in the house but poor cell service when driving through the mountains so helpful to download maps in advance. Easy to buy groceries at Harps in Jasper. I enjoyed morning coffee on the front-porch swing. Highly recommend staying here and we hope to visit again soon!
