Saint Pierre:
It is the capital of the south of the island. The city is the gateway to the "wild south" and its lava flows, but also an ideal crossroads to access the tourist sites such as the Plaine des Cafres and the Plain Palmistes (1h), the Piton volcano of the Furnace (1h), the circus of Cilaos (45 min). Hiking departures are possible from all these sites.
Since Saint-Pierre, you can easily shine on all the main sites of the island, thanks to the proximity of the expressway; you can also lounge on its beaches, flatter your taste buds in one of its many restaurants, or simply stroll on the seafront while admiring the sunset ... but you can also admire it from the balcony of Tikaz Gab Anna sipping your favorite beverage!
Did you know ?
The circuses, peaks and ramparts of the island are listed as UNESCO World Heritage since 2010, and you can contemplate any of these sites every day from your balcony at Ti Kaz Gab'Anna ...
A circus is what is called a collapsing caldera: it is the walls of the Piton des Neiges, a volcano that gave birth to the island some 3 million years ago, which collapsed on them. same. The vertiginous landscapes drawn by these geological events are simply spectacular.
