The home is located in the River Rim Ranch development which is a private, gated community located on the bluffs in Tetonia, Idaho.

Take a short walk down a meandering trail to the famous Teton River for renowned trout fishing, tubing and swimming. Enjoy excellent nearby skiing and hiking at Grand Targhee Resort and Jackson Hole. The home makes an excellent base for exploring the two outstanding Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks as well as other local hikes and 4 season outdoor activities including hiking, golf, horseback riding, white water rafting, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and rodeo. Dining and shopping are available in nearby towns.

-The FULL RESIDENCE, which includes the 3-bedroom main house, plus an elegantly furnished private 1-bedroom apartment that connects to the main house. Full Residence is VRBO listing 1822522.

-The MAIN HOUSE only, which is the larger 3-bedroom portion of the property with expansive deck and 2 1/2 car garage. This rental option does not allow access to the private apartment. Main House is VRBO listing 1910138.

-The TETON LOFT is the connecting private apartment with one bedroom, kitchen, and accommodates 4 guests. This rental option does not allow access to the Main House. Teton Loft is VRBO listing 1919964.

Back inside, the Great room includes large stone fireplace and ample leather couches for social gatherings or viewing what nature has to offer. Adjacent large dining area features an oak table that matches the beamed ceiling and easily seats 8. Professional grade kitchen with luxury appliances that serve the eat-in Kitchen. . Large main floor master suite features a king size bed and private fireplace and its own access to the expansive deck with Grand Teton Mountain and wide Teton Valley views. Attached private bath with dual sinks, large walk-in shower and whirlpool tub. Lower level features family room with 2 additional bedroom suites with individual access to covered deck. Each bedroom has its own private full bath facilities.

Additional living quarters over the garage (Teton Loft) feature a master bedroom suite with full bathroom and full separate kitchen facilities. Please note that access to the Teton Loft apartment is via a full flight of stairs and no elevator is available. Full laundry facilities are available on site and 2 1/2 car garage is available for use.

Summer Vacation

My family greatly enjoyed being able to stay in this beautiful cabin. We had everything we needed here to make our stay comfortable and had plenty of room for all. This cabin was within driving distance of the sites we wanted to see in both Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. When we had questions a couple of times, the Host was quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a "home away from home".

Beautiful property in a beautiful place.

Loved the experience of being in the Teton Valley! The property manager Jen was very nice and helpful. The accommodations were great. We enjoyed all of the outdoor activities (hiking, biking, fishing, whitewater rafting). I would go back in a minute.

Great Mountain Stay

Probably the best VRBO property I've ever stayed at. House was extremely clean and well kept. Everything was just as it was in the pictures. We had a group of 4 couples. House was perfect for us. Beautiful secluded location. A little distance to drive places but well worth it for this part of our trip. If we are ever back in this area again, there is no question we will stay in this property again!

Luxurious Home with Unsurpassed View!!

The home was amazing. So much better than even the pictures showed. The view is incredible. Basically half way between Jackson and west entrance to Yellowstone. Incredible privacy for three senior couples. Furnishings were exquisite!! Very clean, beautiful bedding! Host was attentive to any of our needs. Highly recommend this property and hope to go back one day!!

Spectacular View of the Tetons

We stayed for one week at this wonderfully appointed home. Centrally located between the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone with a beautifully framed view of the Tetons from the wall of windows in the main living area. It was fun to cook for our crew in a gourmet kitchen while enjoying the views from all the windows. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck and watched the bald eagles fish the river and then star gazed in the evening. We had plenty of room for everyone including four hard to impress teenage boys. The game room downstairs and the apartment above the garage with its own living room and kitchen were impressive and an amazing bonus spaces for people to spread out. The main floor master made it especially convenient to travel with our 80 year old mother. It was very easy to communicate with the host and a honor to be able to stay in this home. Definitely recommend for large groups.

Beautiful home with stunning views

We stayed in this beautiful home for our family vacation with our adult kids and grandbaby it was midway between Jackson Hole and Yellowstone which were our destinations. It was a little further to JH than we anticipated because of the mountains, but it was a beautiful drive. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful on all matters from making sure we had plenty to do at his home as well as recommending outings. We met the manager/ cleaning person who was equally accommodating. Everything about the home was wonderful. Evenings were spent on the deck overlooking the beautify valley and mountains. Sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. Our ONLY disappointment was that we didn’t see any wildlife- but in reality when you travel with a party of 8 it’s not all that surprising! I would 100% stay here again. Thank you Bob for sharing your amazing home with us!

Absolutely beautiful

A stunningly gorgeous property with HUGE rooms, fantastic views of the Tetons, plenty of space (5000 square feet) to stretch out and wonderful decks. Our group skied Targhee almost every day, it is a very easy drive even though it takes about 40 minutes. When you get to the house after a day on the slopes you have two fireplaces, 4 master suites (even a steam shower) an enormous kitchen and a great room that is beautiful and inviting. The neighborhood is super quiet with deer visiting the house every day of our stay. Again, absolutely wonderful

A fabulous vacation home!

Everything was perfect. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. We had 11 people, four couples, two teems, and an eight-year-old everyone had a comfortable space. Beautiful home with spectacular views of Teton River, Tetonia farmland, and Teton mountains (40 min away). Ideal for family/friend reunions, allowing personal space as well as niches for group engagement. While not in town, a 15-20 min drive brings you to attractive little town of Driggs with restaurants, a local distillery with tours, and a large supermarket.

I am a semi-retired physician from the east coast who first visited the Teton Valley in September, 2019 and fell in love with the area. The wide open valleys framed by often snow covered mountain peaks make this area thoroughly peaceful and relaxing for me. It's a great place to unwind but also explore the nearby national parks. As an animal lover, the abundant wildlife in the area is a real plus.

Why they chose this property

When I first toured this home I was amazed by the impeccable furnishings and tremendous views. The home has been professionally decorated and little used in its 13 year history. The 270 degree views of the adjacent Teton River and valley as well as the nearby mountain peaks add to the grandeur of the house. It is difficult to capture the home and setting in pictures. I encourage you to experience it for yourself!
