Anchored on the sandy shores of Catawba Island, experience breathtaking views of Lake Erie and a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy the Great Lake Life! Take in the beautiful summer sunsets and playful water activities, as well as the regular sightings of spectacular wildlife during all seasons of the year. Boat / trailer parking available on site. The wintertime offers an unbelievable view of the vast frozen Great Lake Erie, akin to an arctic world that you have to experience! Snowmobile / ATV access available for the world class fishing!

All common areas feature expansive views of the lake. The fully stocked kitchen and dining area offer plenty of storage and counter space for large families and/or longer off-season stays. The living room includes a large 4K Smart TV, lakeside windows, and clean comfortable furniture.

Great Setting, Roomy Comfortable House

The house is very close to the lake/ beautiful sunsets and all around Great Lake views. Large deck with ample seating for large groups. The water is shallow for at least a quarter of a mile out- ideal for younger children's water play. Beds are very comfy and bathrooms are updated and very clean. If you are staying for several days you may want to bring all the basics you need to prepare food as well as baggies, tin foil, paper towels, etc. The fridge is immaculate, but empty. There are, however, several large grocery stores nearby. We had a great time on the lake and the house is one of the better rentals we have stayed in. Lots of room to spread out, but you'll most likely spend most of your time in the large kitchen and on the huge deck. Matt also allowed us to stay an extra day and we were grateful as it turned out to be the nicest day of our stay.

June 2024 Review

The property was wonderful. Home, neighborhood, view and location all accurately reflected the ad. We loved the property and had a great time. A couple of items: Only located 1 trash bag. Seemed odd that this was the case. We bought 15 and left them behind. The gas grill is a mess. I would update the item as it is not a fair reflection of the property at all. The deck, lake, and view all push people outside. At the daily rental price this should be in better condition. Upstairs corner bedroom window will open but not shut. mini family reunion

Our family group attended a wedding in nearby Catawba Island and wanted to have more togetherness than hotel rooms provide. This property had ample living/ dining/ kitchen space for our group of 8 to gather. With the four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, we also had our own spaces and didn't have to wait on line to use the bathroom. The house is RIGHT on the lake, which is ideal for warmer weather! It also has many cute nautical decorative touches. When we had a question, our email was responded to promptly.

Lovely Lakefront View

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Port Clinton. The house is *directly* on the water. When you are sleeping in the ground floor primary bedroom, it almost feels like you are on a houseboat the water is so close. The deck overlooking the water is just lovely - we found ourselves relaxing out there the most. The home is well appointed and we were super impressed with the adjustable beds! Just little extra comfort items that made the trip all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend! And bring your binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching - the cormorants, swans, and other lake fowl really put on a show!

Stunning View!

The view… amazing! My family and I spent many hours on the deck taking in the gorgeous view. The house fit our needs and was as described. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. The neighborhood is quiet. We were sad to leave. The kids are already asking to go back next year!

GREAT LOCATION - BEAUTIFUL HOME

Our group absolutely loved this home. Very clean, comfy beds, amazing views. The location is quiet and very convenient for a quick jaunt to grab the ferry to PIB in Port Clinton, or to Kellys Island via Marblehead (we went to KI and had a great day.) We truly enjoyed our little getaway and plan to rent again.

In from California for a family reunion

The view was from the home is beyond beautiful. The home is situated right on the shoreline of Lake Erie. There is easy access (by way of a neighbors walkway that they kindly offered) to the very shallow sandy water where you can swim and play. The home decor is nautical and pleasing. The kitchen was large and the family room’s furniture very comfortable. There was ample space for the 7 of us. It had working washer and dryer and nice size bathrooms. The master shower tile could use a really good grout cleaning as the tile was black and moldy. All the beds and linens were comfortable and CLEAN! The home was spectacular. Morning coffee on the deck included a bald eagle fishing overhead.

Great spot but needs some upkeep

The location was great!! The hot water heater is way too small to accommodate 8 people. Both full baths need updates! The gas grill was so gross we didn't end up using it. It is very nicely decorated and cabinets have all the spices and dishes you need

Great Property for the Family

We rented this for a vacation for our grown children and young grandchildren. Great to be on the lake! Plenty of restaurants and plaice to take the grandkids. My only issue is that the "4th Bedroom" (with the twin beds) doesn't have a door on it. Just a curtain. This room is right off of the kitchen and eating area so it is not a quiet area.

Wow wow wowwwww!

What a beautiful home and what a spectacular location! We held our sibling family reunion (four couples) here and it was perfect! We spent most of our days at Magee Marsh for the Biggest Birding Week in America, and our afternoons and evenings having family dinners and games around the big family table. The kitchen, dining room and living room are all open to each other, and allowed for wonderful together time. We could not get over how all of these rooms have such a breathtaking view of Lake Erie. The large deck and patio extend the open space to the yard. I was hopeful the pictures were accurate but, in truth, they don't do this home justice. Lastly, everything was clean as could be and the beds were very comfortable. We all slept really well, with the sound of the lake lapping against the shore all night. We hope to visit again. Thank you, Matt, for such a wonderful stay!

We have stayed at many places and had many different experiences, but this place does not disappoint. Everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The neighbors were friendly, the view cannot be beat, and your a 2-5 minute cab ride from anywhere you want to be! Was worth every penny and would recommend to anyone trying to find a place in this area.
