We came up to fish and needef a clean place to stay in the area close to the dam. This place checked all of the boxes and the owner is great, stayed here 2 years.
Super cozy little spot for a rustic getaway. Property manager was super friendly and communicative. Perfect distance to lake Michigan whilst being affordable.
My husband and I had a great time staying here while visiting the area. It was clean and we found the beds to be VERY comfortable! My only suggestion would be a more comfy couch upgrade. We would definitely stay here again!
The property was great! Very clean, had everything you need as far as dishes, cooking utensils, towels, sheets etc. Very quiet peaceful neighborhood, with a nice lake right down the road. Perfect spot for a family or a couples get away! Would definitely stay there again!

It was nice having a place so close to the race track. Bed are comphy, nice and clean, air condition units, it was perfect for us. The kitchen table and couches need updating, other than that it was perfect.

Thank you so much for staying! I agree on the couches! They have been replaced ☺️ Appreciate your kind words. Glad you had a pleasant stay! Come again 💜
Went to see my srep son graduate high school. We very much enjoyed everything. Nice firepit. We had a small problem figuring out the television but the host was there within 30 minutes to fix it.
Everything was great, i would go again.
Hopefully the outside being a “bit ran down” didn’t affect your stay. Haven’t heard that comment before. House is older, metal roof newer. Aluminum siding is difficult to power wash. Color comes off when doing that. Glad all else was acceptable. Your communication was poor at best. I have probably a dozen messages I sent to you and you replied twice. The longest of which was 5 words 😳
Appreciate your input. Thanks for staying!
This little house was what we needed. A place to sleep. Location? Really depends on what you’re looking for. We were only in the house to sleep, otherwise we were out and about. If you’re a beach goer, you’ll have to travel. If you’re hunting or fishing, this is a good place. Just, DO NOT CLEAN FISH IN THE HOUSE!
Clean, well stocked, good host…we would be happy to use this place again.

Thanks Jessica! Glad you enjoyed your stay. There is a small beach just a few blocks away but Lake Michigan beaches are about 20 minutes away. We do note this in our description. We do not allow fish cleaning inside our rentals as some folks have proven they do not clean up properly. We find it very unfair for their carelessness to be passed on to our cleaning lady to the next group of renters. Finding fish scales all over is just not any fun lol
Loved having your group and would love to have you again. Have a great rest of the summer!
The property was great! Very cozy! Had everything we needed for our weekend away from home. Check in was effortless, Communication with the owner was easy. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again!
Reasonable price, clean and quiet. A small town, rural setting it was all I needed for a weekend stay. Was an excellent location as home base for nearby adventure be it forest trail or beach. Tracy was a gracious and friendly host, quick to respond. Overall a positive VRBO experience.
Easy transaction with owner. Comfortable and clean cabin in a great location for kayaking the Pine River. Also try the Kozy Kitchen breakfast. Delicious!
Very comfortable updated cabin with fabulous host!
Everything we needed with extra towels and toilet paper. Shower worked well with great pressure. Air conditioner in bedroom and main area was great with the hot weather. Very nice 55 in tv with cable ( Traceys husband came out within minutes to get it working again after I hit some wrong buttons 😳). Priced right. Very cute!
