Casa Macrina B is a graceful apartment in a quiet position, situated at a short distance from the Cathedral of Amalfi. It sleeps four people. It is approximately 45 square meters (485 square feet). It features a shared patio and air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed).
You will be in the center of Amalfi, a few steps from restaurants, shops and the tourist port. You will find the Piazza Flavio Gioia bus terminal and the beach at roughly 700 meters (770 yards).
Casa Macrina B is located on the first floor of an ancient convent. You will reach it from the street level going up approximately 95 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Macrina B. If you do have one, you will be able to park it downtown, for a fee, in a private parking lot. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. We recommend to bring a small car (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller). Alternatively, you can park for a fee in a public parking lot (where a space can not be reserved). Casa Macrina is located in the center of Amalfi in an ancient monastery, built in the XI century, where other locals live. Throughout the years the monastery's cells have been converted into nice apartments. Duomo Square, where Saint Andrew's Cathedral is located, is only 600 meters  (650 yards) away, and you can easily reach it by a pleasant walk through the historic center of Amalfi.

 Patio
The patio is 40 square meters (430 square feet) large. You will reach it going up a walkway that includes approximately 20 stairway steps. It is equipped with tables, chairs, a sun umbrella, two deck chairs and an external shower. Here you will find also a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet) at your disposal. From the patio you will have a pleasant view of the greenery and of the other buildings. You will share the patio with the guests staying at the complex, at another nearby apartment.
Living Room
The living room is paved with characteristic majolica tiles. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator without freezer, a microwave oven and an Italian-style coffee-maker. There is also an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has a double-glazed window with a view of greenery and of the surrounding houses. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a wrought iron matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a small window with a view of greenery and of the surrounding houses. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. The bathroom has a double-glazed small window with a view of greenery and of the surrounding houses. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.
