This is our favourite home away from home in Portland - cozy, clean, well-equipped, comfortable, safe, and convenient to groceries, cool shops, and parks. Mark and Chrysalis are very kind and responsive to our needs.
Chrysalis' Cottage is our "go to" home in Portland. It is beautifully maintained and has everything we need. Each time we come, I notice improvements. It's comfy, cozy, and self-contained. Chrysalis and Mark are available when we need help. It's close to our kids who live in Woodstock and the neighbourhood is super cool and fun.
This was a really great place to stay! Great part of town next to great restaurants too.The hosts are the nicest you will find anywhere. We didn’t have enough room in the car for our high chair, so they were kind enough to track one down for us so we didn’t have to! Highly recommended it!
The cute, private cottage was clean and comfy. It ticked all the boxes and was close for walking to the Woodstock restaurants and shops. I will stay here again when needed!
We were in Portland for a 3-day family event and were delighted to find a Vrbo “in the neighborhood.” Parking right outside the gate very convenient and great soaking tub.
I totally enjoyed my stay at this property. The rental was very clean and the kitchen had every appliance one could possibly need. I stayed 10 days so the washer and dryer were a plus. The property is located in a very walkable neighborhood with plenty of stores and restaurants just blocks away. I would definitely stay here again when visiting my daughter in Portland.
We traveled to Portland to visit friends and do some sight seeing. This property was located in a great neighborhood and was easy to get into and out of.Quiet place to stay. Close to the airport.Thank you for the hospitality!
Nice VRBO cottage in backyard of hosts. The cottage is well maintained and stocked with all of the essentials. The hosts are wonderful: friendly, helpful and responsive. My wife and I stay at many SE Portland VRBOs while visiting our grandson and we highly recommended this one.
Chrysalis was very accessible and responded to texts very promptly and was very helpful during our stay.We loved her little Casita and have marked it for our next day in Portland. I would stay here again and again. Beds were super comfortable and this little home was spotless and had every amenity we needed.Great neighborhood.
Perfect time, lovely accommodations, short walk to necessities, groceries, restaurants and the best ice cream in Portland! I'll be back!

Well...I had to email her on my way to check in because she never sent me the code. I opened the gate and the yard was overgrown and stuff everywhere. Not a good first impression. The pictures did not show that or I wouldn't have rented it. The keyless box was a little difficult to deal with especially if your hands are full. It's a cute bungalow and very convenient to shops and restaurants but could use a spring cleaning.
