Comfortable but condo is dated and needs an upgrade

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time with our family but the condo is very dated, not very private. Closets in twin bedroom are too full of stuff- linens, blankets etc... needs to be better organized so guests can unpack. Master closet needs more shelving. Get rid of the giant cabinet in the master toilet room! Why is it there?? Carpets are old and browning and frayed at the edges. Funny smell in condo and the plastic automatic freshener does not help. Smoke alarm went off every time we cooked (no smoke.) landscapers blowing leaves at 7:30 am on 12/28 right outside window. Needs a lot of improvements and better organization. 5 bikes but only two had air in tires . Pillows on outside furniture are torn and outside cushions very dusty. Windows are old and do not open close easily. Entire condo needs renovations and upgrades. Positive: comfortable master bed, all supplies needed were provided, close to resort. Generally clean but just too cluttered.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very frustrated and unhappy with our rental this year. We had many issues that were addressed with the leasing company. The residence is very tired and seriously needs updating. The carpets are filthy and looked like oil had been spoiled in numerous places. The place was not clean upon our arrival, crumbs in the kitchen, bathroom still had toothpaste in places, dust behind things, etc. Ants on the kitchen counter throughout our time there even tho I bought ant traps and put them on the counters, floor etc. They did replace the kitchen faucet as it sprayed and streamed at the same time!!!!!. Ice maker was replaced but the refrigerator still have issues. Freezing a chunk of frost behind the crisper drawer and then some water melts and drips in the crisper draws!!!!! Outside furniture very old, uncomfortable, some ripped and discolored. One of the bathroom tubs constantly drip water, huge waste of there. It takes so long to get hot water to all the rooms and kitchen except one bathroom. YOU ARE IN A DROUGHT AND CAN"T BELIEVE THE WATER THAT IS WASTED. Great room is very dark and furniture is old. When you sit on the sofa your knees are above buttocks when you sit down. There was nothing there to clean the toilets, most frustrating!!!. Washer and dryer very old and need to be replaced. Light had to be fixed in laundry room so we could see. Kitchen table cracked down the middle and chairs don't match or do the cushions fit the chairs. The table is rough and caught good clothing. Updated cooling and heating in casita but they left the ugly heating system on the wall!. The bathroom stool doesn't always stop running. Entryway tile and those rocks need to be taken out and something smooth put in with maybe drain tile. People stub their toe on the rocks. Place needs to be gutted and seriously updated!!!!

LaQuinta resort house with casita

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love the Santa Rosa Cove neighborhood. Nice tennis courts and pools nearby and then can use all of LaQuinta resorts amenities. Love to walk or bike over to look at the beautiful flowers and eat at the nice restaurants.

Superb Thanksgiving

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely stunning rental, with the most complete kitchen we've ever rented. Beds were very good, furniture lovely and plentiful. We enjoyed the bikes in the garage and found a large bucket of tennis balls in a cupboard - truly well fitted out! We hope to stay here again.
