Welcome to your spacious family retreat! Lots of space for everyone to spread out and relax. This custom adobe sits on an acre not far from local shops, breweries, wineries, and the Rio Grande River. Privacy and leisure abound in the large yard! With a park like setting and plenty of seating for everyone, you will love enjoying the views on the back patio. The balcony is the perfect place to sneak away from the group and enjoy the views. Come inside and enjoy one of the three kiva fireplaces. The thick adobe walls keep a house that is full still sound and feel so calm. Located in a quaint country setting less than 10 minutes from the city of Albuquerque, Corrales is a quiet animal friendly village. Go for bike rides down to the river or down to the local wineries. My wife and I along with two of our daughters and their families went to Albuquerque to attend the balloon fiesta. The property is located about 15 minutes from fiesta park. The house was in excellent condition and well stocked with all of the items needed for a comfortable stay. Quiet location in Corrales. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic stay, great memories!

Our group of 11 adults had a magical weekend at Casa de Corrales during the Balloon Fiesta. The house is beautiful, clean, and accurate to the listing, and communication with the hosts was easy and helpful. As a bonus, we had a great time exploring Corrales - so many great shops and restaurants. 5-star stay across the board!

Wonderful house in Corrales

We loved spending a few days in this great Corrales house. It is huge - by our standards - and we loved that. Of course, we had to draw straws to see who stayed in which bedroom because they were great. And the kitchen, the yard, the location….it was perfect.

Just as hoped!

My family loved our stay here - the toys provided were perfect for the 2 year old and 6 year old in our group. The kitchen is super well appointed and Melanie was very prompt whenever I had any questions. Check in was easy, the house was clean, and the beds were comfortable! We had a great time with this as our home base for balloon fiesta, you can see them in the morning from the yard.

Balloon Fiesta

We stayed at the home for our recent trip to the Balloon Fiesta. The home was great and had all of the accommodations we needed as well as a fabulous outdoor space. The house was very clean and easy to check in and out. The location to fiesta was great because it was on the south west side of the entrance so we could skip most of the traffic and parking problems surrounding the fiesta which was nice.

Friends Reunion

Had a New Year's small friend reunion with college friends and their families. This place was perfect, we had enough room to spread out and not be on top of each other. Backyard was a hit with the kids and kitchen was large for us to all cook together in. Didn't expect all the Christmas decorations, but it really made it a special event!

Amazing House and owner

Wow from the moment we walked in we knew we rented the right place. The house is warm and inviting and we felt relaxed immediately. Bedding was comfortable, decor beautiful, and outdoor decks and patio were the perfect spot to watch the morning balloons go by during the fiesta or to watch the night sky. The location was great for those who want to really enjoy Albuquerque and we went to Santa Fe and Jemez Hot Springs easily. The homeowners were wonderful and responsive. I had a problem with getting a rental car and Melanie actually came to get us at the airport at 11PM. Overall an amazing vacation home!

Excellent get-away destination

The price for this property is definitely above the average VRBO, but this property is above and beyond the average VRBO! The hosts are excellent communicators. The property itself is amazing in a stunningly beautiful location with views of the Sandia mountains turning red at sunset. I was pleased to find the kitchen excellently equipped - including coffee beans & grinder as well as an array of delicious teas. It is just off the main road through Corrales with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and brewery. We live only 25 minutes drive from the property, but it made our daughter's wedding in Corrales feel like a destination wedding! I would highly recommend and hope to visit there again myself!

Splendid!

This gorgeous house and location wonderfully served our multi-generational family (12 people) needs for togetherness along with space and privacy extremely well, including plenty of off street parking. The owners’ attention to detail with so many thoughtful provisions made it easy to relax and feel at home in a quiet atmosphere. Giant windows made it bright and cheery, as well as easy to keep tabs on the ones outside, besides enjoying the peaceful views. The location has great access to major shopping places a short distance away. Our extended family birthdays’ celebration went smoothly with the spacious well equipped kitchen and the large eating space that flowed into the open living room and yard. It is a superb location for coming to the Balloon Festival! The shuttle ride to that event was only a few minutes from the house. We also watched nearly all the balloons fly right by/over the yard and the house other mornings. We had a splendid time there!

Great location for family

Overall, a positive experience renting this property for my family and my sister in laws family. The cousins loved playing in the backyard on the trampoline. There was an issue with the fridge while we were there (it wouldn’t get very cold), but the owner offered to assist and send someone over. We were only there for two nights so didn’t make sense for our needs and I’m sure she took care of it. She was extremely responsive and even left a brand new iron and ironing board after I inquired if one would be available. I would recommend it!

Charming, spacious retreat

This house was perfect for the 7 of us! The layout is spacious and the attention to detail was perfect. The kids and dogs especially loved the large backyard. We could even see the Fiesta balloons from the yards one morning. The host was excellent to communicate with and we all had a great time. Thank you!

We purchased this home to raise our children in a small village not far from all the activities in the city. Over the years we have been asked if we had considered making it a bed and breakfast because of its large layout. We have decided to rent the entire home when we are away visiting family and traveling ourselves. We hope that others will enjoy their stay here and make memories of their own!

Corrales has truly embraced the art of relaxation with its laid back and quiet environment. The Village of Corrales offers local art shops, restaurants, wineries, and breweries. Visit in October to see the sky filled with 600 hot air balloons during the annual International Balloon Fiesta. The Balloon Fiesta Park is just a short drive away, but when the wind is blowing north, you can chase the balloons right here in the neighborhood. The Sandia Mountains, Jemez Mountains, Old Town, and Santa Fe are all a short drive away. Enjoy hiking, snow skiing, the Albuquerque Tram, and all the delicious food New Mexico has to offer!
