A gem of a vacation house, large and spacious, with majestic views of the ancient redwood trees. This large house offers a great get-away with plenty of room to enjoy the quiet solitude, yet close enough (within 1 mile) to walk into the quaint town of Mendocino, or beach and headlands. Enjoy watching the deer and wildlife while sitting on the large deck with your morning coffee. Or, climb up into the tree house (decorated as the owlery from Winny the Pooh) for a relaxing time out to read, listen to music, or watch a movie. This house has plenty of privacy on 1.27 acre of land, hidden from neighbors, and equipped with a sauna, bocce ball court, playhouse for the kids, library and office, and a media room with plenty of movies to choose from. Whether taking hikes in the forest, picking huckleberries, or going to the beach, there is much to choose from with this perfect location. This house is a perfect home to spread out and enjoy many activities with your friends and family for a relaxing vacation.

Lovely retreat in the redwoods

This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely house and we hope to visit again soon. There are lovely little children's play houses hidden in the gorgeous garden and the entire property feels calm and peaceful. The location and setting are gorgeous!

Amazing retreat, great location!

The location is unbeatable- just minutes to town. The rooms are spacious and all amenities are great. There were 6 of us, so having 3 bathrooms was helpful. Sauna was definitely the highlight of our stay, totally recommend!!! We really loved the well maintained grounds and the the tree house. 1000 piece puzzle was the only challenge we were not able to complete.

Nestled in Redwoods, the property has some age to it but everything is in operating order and it’s a great place for multiple adults. It’s very quiet but is in very close proximity to Mendocino. We enjoyed staying here.

Fantastic property with tons of surprises

We visited for a very short trip but we’re so thrilled with all the very unique and well appointed touches that this house has. It’s very evident how much care and pride has been put into it. Kids loved exploring outside and discovering the tree and play houses!
