About this property

We have lived in this beautiful rural location for many years, enjoying Suffolk and all it has to offer from Aldeburgh, Orford, Snape, Southwold, Walberswick and our heritage coast. Our farmhouse is steeped in character from the 16th Century with the barn being recently renovated. We have a beautiful garden and private parking. Downstairs is open planned with a piano and separate dinning room and laundry room. With wonderful french windows looking out over the garden. Upstairs has two large bedrooms one with option to have a super king bed OR two single beds and the other room has a king size bed, and a family bathroom. There is a children,'s playground in the village, a new pub. The station is five minutes walk from the barn, which goes to London, Cambridge and Nowrich Ipswich and more. There are many wonderful walks, we are also close to Rendlesham Forest where they have wonderful bike rides (and a bike hire place) a great kids area and a pick-nick area. We are twenty minutes from Minsmere which is wonderful for bird watching as well. I am afraid due to the fact that we are a thatched cottage we have a no smoking and no BBQ policy.

Wonderful Family Christmas

Church Farm House is a beautiful cottage situated in quiet Campsea Ashe. It has everything you could wish for and was the perfect place for our family Christmas. Our grandchildren loved all the games and the endless supply of ice from the American fridge freezer. Amanda is a lovely host and couldn’t do enough for us. I would highly recommend this cottage if you want a good spot for touring round Suffolk.

Gorgeous Cottage

This is a fabulous cottage: so cosy, beautifully decorated and well equipped. There's loads to do locally, wish we had stayed longer.

Peaceful and relaxing

Property much larger than it looks outside. Owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Beds very comfy in large bedrooms. Plenty of space so you don't feel crowded. Would love to stay again.

My parents moved to this property 35 years ago. We used to live in London having the train in the village is a great bonus.
I am a specialist painter and have a workshop show room five minutes away at Bentwaters Business Park, which is very convenient for traveling to and fro.

Church Farm House is a very beautiful thatched cottage located in this quiet village of Campsea Ash. The garden backs on to the beautiful church yard. This property is also very central for commuting to Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, Orford, Southwold,Walberswick and Snape.

What makes this property unique

We live in the main part of this house which is a very pretty 16th century thatched cottage. We have a beautiful garden which our guests staying in the Barn can stroll around. I will sometimes be in the garden gardening and mowing he lawns. There is a fenced in bit of the garden for the guests so they can be more private, which has a gravel terrace and a lawn.
