We were made very welcome by Clare at the Owls nest. Upon arrival we found the the accommodation very warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed and more in this beautiful peaceful setting. The Owl nest was the perfect place to stay while visiting family who live close by.
The property is in a beautiful, peaceful setting ideally situated for visiting many local attractions. Owls Nest is cosy and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Claire is very welcoming and helpful, providing lots of helpful information about places to visit locally.
Owls nest is ideal accommodation for a couple looking for a relaxing getaway. Very tranquil being situated in tga very rural part of Suffolk. Great base to explore the area. We will definitely be back.
Most enjoyable stay in a very comfortable and quirky rural property. The stairs up to the accommodation would be a bit challenging for the less able and the shower takes a bit of working out but overall the apartment is great for a break in lovely countryside.

Our Owls Nest Holiday
We had a lovely relaxing stay at Owls Nest near Charsfield . The accommodation had everything we needed with lots of extra touches and attention to detail. The converted barn was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The idyllic rural location suited us just fine and the areas we wanted to visit were within east driving distance.
Would definitely revisit.
Nice accommodation in a very rural setting. You cannot walk to any shops or pubs etc but we knew that before we booked. Good location for visiting the Suffolk coast and Ipswich.
The Owls Nest is in a stunning location, situated equidistance between beautiful Suffolk coastal towns and the outstanding natural beauty of 'Constable' country. We were made to feel very welcome and encouraged to explore the delightful 17 acres of the farm. For people who like peace and tranquillity in an extremely relaxing environment, then this is the place you should certainly consider.
Positives -
Hosts friendly and helpful
Comfortable and well furnished
Peaceful
Plenty of guides maps to read
Negatives
Wife found stairs found outside steps challenging after hip operation
Headroom a bit restricted
Overall though good choice
Thank you
We very much enjoyed our stay, Clare and Chris were lovely hosts and made it very simple. The apartment has all the facilities you need and the area is very peaceful. Good base for the area.
Owls Nest is well appointed and furnished comfortably. Set in a very rural location surrounded by footpaths. Ideal situation for a peaceful stay and easy walking and ideal for access to visitor attractions such as Sutton Hoo, Orford Ness etc. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.
Lovely accommodation in attractive barn conversion in a really quiet countryside location but well placed for exploring Suffolk, particularly the coast.
Absolutely lovely. So peaceful, relaxing and quiet. Property was spotless with everything we needed including tea, coffee, sugar, milk and even a lovely lemon cake. Hosts were lovely. Perfect spot for exploring Suffolk.
Owl’s Nest is a charming and comfortable property in a renovated barn, suitable for two adults with a car. It is accessed up a flight of wooden steps so is only suitable for those with good mobility. It is comfortably furnished with lovely first floor views of the surrounding countryside, and has plenty of character created by the sloping ceilings and large triangular picture window. The owners, who live in the farmhouse next door, are friendly and discrete, but very helpful when consulted. The surrounding countryside is quiet and peaceful, with easy road access to nearby Wickham Market, and the Suffolk coast. For those seeking a restful rural holiday in beautiful Suffolk countryside, Owl’s Nest is a perfect location.

It was a quirky property in the middle of the beautiful Suffolk countryside. It was well equipped and spacious. The angled ceilings took some getting use to and we bumped our heads more than once. The shower was particularly tricky for my 6 ft husband but having a bath too was nice. We struggled a bit to see the TV and couldn't really get on with the oven but overall I would recommend it as a lovely place for some peace and quiet and long walks.
We stayed in Owls Nest for a short break before our daughter's wedding at a nearby venue. The farm is in a beautiful, peaceful location and the apartment was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Communications with the helpful owners was excellent. We would like to return at a later date and stay for a longer period to visit the many attractions in the area.
Really nice place to stay and lovely hosts. Very clean and welcoming. Quite a few nice places nearby to visit too

We liked everything about the property, all the rooms were clean and well cared for. It was a very peaceful area and Clare was particularly keen to make sure that we were happy with everything and nothing was too much trouble for her. There was nothing to dislike here at all.
Lovely couple of days away. Property clean and nice touches with cake waiting for us!
Shower is very small and a struggle for anyone over 5 foot 10 to stand up in!
Beautiful area for walks and peace and quiet
