This Lovely waterfront Island POOL home only 4 blocks from the Gulf Beach and only 2 blocks to Tamps Bay Beach. The home has high quality newer furnishings and bedding and some vintage island pieces.

The kitchen has a coffee maker, Micro wave, Dish Washer, Stove, Oven, Full size fridge with Ice and water in the door. New Island themed decor throughout the ground level home including beautiful pineapple glass dining table. Media room is large enough for the whole family to sit and relax. Perfect family retreat

Perfect oasis for a work and relaxation retreat!

This was the perfect spot to beat the heat and relax! Loved the shallow end of pool and option of a hot tub! The house was clean and loved the layout for having our own space! It was so peaceful being on a canal. So quiet and peaceful! Then we walked down to Pine when we wanted to be part of the Island vibe. Highly recommended for a family of 4 or friend group!

Best Vacation Ever!

Enjoyed seven nights at Coconut Bayou. We loved everything about the house, pool, spa, dock and location! The house was so comfortable, plenty of seating and get away areas. Everything worked great and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Candy and the folks at the property management office were great! Alex, thanks for sharing your home with us, we hope to return to AMI & Bean Point soon!!

Overall a great rental. Very dated inside but clean, and perfectly adequate. There were enough beach chairs and a small wagon to pool chairs and umbrellas to the beach. Perfect. To be clear, there is no view of the ocean from the house, you have to walk about 1/2 mile to the beach We loved the heated pool and hot tub. One disappointment was the use of the TV. They did not have local TV and we were unable to utilize the Hulu app to watch live TV. The rental office is aware of this issue but the owner does not think people need to watch TV on vacation. Maybe my review will help the owner to change his mind about that! Otherwise A great rental!

Great, relaxing vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Anna Maria Island! House is cute and is accurately described in the online profile. It was perfect for the three of us. We rented a golf cart to get around the island all week which was perfect for getting to the beach, grocery, restaurants. Spent a lot of time in the saltwater pool and watching wildlife from the pier. Manatees, tons of fish, sea stars and more. Didn’t want to leave!

Fantastic

This was the perfect place for my family. My son was able to fish, we kayaked, swam in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub at night. The house had everything including beach chairs, towels and even a wagon to use to take things to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Beautiful location- sunsets and more

Beautiful area. House is comfortable but mostly a great rental for it’s location and tranquility , no car needed once on island, great for families. Amazing pool and hot tub.

Enjoyed are time there but will look for different property next year.

Backyard pool was great. Nice place to sit and enjoy the mornings and evenings overlooking the canal. House furniture is very dated and flooring could use an update also. Drain in shower kept backing up and I had to plunge daily. Pool was only serviced once during our 12 day stay.

Great location with pool

Great location just off the Pine & Gulf Street business area with a short walk to either the gulf or the bay beaches. The heated pool was a nice treat for late February given our group wanted to get into the water and the gulf is a bit chilly. Loved the back yard area with the pool and views of the canal. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a gas barbeque in the back yard but it didn't get very hot (topped out at 250 degrees) and it struggled to cook hamburgers. The internet is very weak and we were not able to join internet video meetings for both work or online schooling. If you are going to work or school remotely, you will be frustrated. Despite the barbeque and internet we had a great time and would come back.

The location of the property was great. Close to town and it’s fun to be on the canal.

The condition of the property is really only fair. Much of the furniture is very old, as are the appliances. Microwave and toaster should be replaced. Chairs on the patio are in bad shape and need to be replaced also. The pool, however, was nice....not really for swimming, but great for water aerobics. The beach towels were great. Beachmobi did respond immediately when the shower head(plastic) broke. Both showers need to have grab bars in them...very unsafe to not have those! We did enjoy ourselves, but think the property was not worth the money.

FANTASTIC

We had a great vacation at this home! Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. It is an older ground level home so there were no stairs to climb. This is exactly what we wanted. We like to cook and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There is also a gas grill and outdoor dining area for poolside dining. We loved our time here and hated for this vacation to end. The backyard was a paradise with the pool, hot tub and beautiful views of the canal. Walking to the beach to see the sunset every day was our favorite.

Furnishing were dated. House needed a paint job, curtains were filthy, dead bug in light fixture, smoke alarm went off when we weren't even cooking, no beach towels, cooler with broken handle , lounge chairs were disgusting, patio table was filthy upon arrival.

Great stay!

The home was extremely clean, comfortable and fully stocked! We basically lived in the backyard space, so the fact that it was out dated didn't bother us at all (as other reviews state.). It's an old Florida home with pretty views and wonderful pool for the family. Great location on the island, as well. Pictures are pretty much on point as far as accuracy. Great family house! We didn't want to leave!

Prov's vs. Con's

Pictures are accurate, however, the description needs updating. Pro's: location, pool/hot tub and the landscaping surrounding it, kitchen is well equipped - albeit dated - plenty of towels, prop mgrs Candy & Ed are wonderful. My daughter left her expensive glasses behind and they did a great job returning them to us. Con's: Not sure where to start! The listing says all new furniture and bedding. There has not been new furniture in the home for quite sometime. Many pieces reminded me of my grandmother's home. The guest bedroom didn't have bedding on it - just a comforter and a fitted sheet. The master bedroom door doesn't shut. The icemaker doesn't make more than 15 cubes on a good day. The two bikes mentioned are absolutely unable to ride. The listing mentions coolers and beach chairs. Another reviewer mentions a beach wagon. None of these items exist. Perhaps they are in the locked garage. We could not get the TV in the guest bedroom to work. The day before we left, I tripped on the cable wire and I realized why - it wasn't hooked up to the TV! We hooked it up and it worked. Wish I would've tripped on it sooner! The listing mentions a new bathroom. Nothing in the home has been new since being built decades ago, right down to the yellow and blue toilets. To be fair, the pictures are accurate and I thought it was odd as the pictures clearly show very dated bathrooms. We thought perhaps the photos hadn't been updated. We purchased window cleaner to clean the outdoor glass table, as it was filthy. It almost seemed like there were descriptions for two different homes that somehow got combined. Did any of this ruin our vacation? Of course not, or we would have called the prop mgrs. However, this is the first time we have rented a vacation home that left us feeling a little "duped". We have stayed in homes in many parts of Florida, including several on Anna Maria in the same price range that were much nicer in terms of decor and accuracy of the listing. This is my first time submitting a review. I just felt it was necessary so that perhaps the description can be updated. I noticed all but one of the reviews are several years old. Hmmm.

Family Spring Break Vacation

This place is perfect for a family. Lots of room and very comfortable. The location of the bedrooms allow a group to split late nights or early mornings. The beach was a hop, skip and a jump and beautiful. Restaurants and stuff to do walking distance but we stayed in the backyard pool most of the time. Rented a canopy to shade the 3 & 5 year old. The washer and dryer came in handy. Love the wagon and toys for beach play. All in all highly recommend.
