Whether you want to relax on a boat all day and soak in the sun or get your exercise in by hiking Bald Mountain you will be able to know that you have this very well maintained camp to come home too. The camp is cute with rustic style features. If you’re staying in Old Forge and want to be within walking distance to everything in town, rent it. The property it sits on is small so there is no real back yard access, but has a walk around porch and the fire pit is now a propane stove and in the driveway. Beds were comfortable and linens were provided. Well supplied with utensils, dishes, Coffee maker and Keurig. Wi-Fi, nice large television in living area and one in each bedroom also. Overall it was a nice place to stay. Owner very responsive and answered promptly.

Excellent place to stay during a family vacation. A short walk to many attractions and places to eat nearby. Owner is great to communicate with. Would stay there again!

Overall excellent. The place can accommodate larger groups and is centrally located in town for easy walking to grocery, restaurants, and shops. The host was also very kind and responsive throughout.

This is a wonderful vacation rental home right in the heart of Old Forge. You can walk to many attractions nearby. The house itself is spacious with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Communication with Dave leading up to and during our trip was easy. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Old Forge. Prospective guests should note that bath towels are not included, which was not a problem for us as we have family in the area who lent some to us. If you are driving into town from home, you could bring your own towels. It may be more of a hassle if you are flying as you would need to pack them or purchase some while you are there. It was no problem for us though. All in all, it was the perfect house for my family (two parents and two young children). Thank you Dave! We will see you again for a future summer trip!

Very nice house!

This is a beautiful house! It is centrally located, and we were able to walk to breakfast in the morning, and stroll downtown. We had enough beds for everyone, and everyone enjoyed their stay. Would definitely recommend this house. Dave even had a baby gate for us to block off the stairs.

Fun Girl’s Weekend

Happy in Old Forge

Our family had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for all nine of us. The house was within walking distance to everything in Old Forge so everyone could come and go as they pleased. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed and the owner was very helpful in answering all of our questions.

Fantastic family vacation.

It was wonderful to have a home environment so close to everything we wanted to do. Coming back after outings was comfortable to have everyone together was great. We sat around the table together for meals and games.

This location couldn’t be any more convenient! Check in and check out was so easy, Dave communicated to us and was easy to get ahold of. He even saved a stuffed animal for us that had gotten left behind. The house had plenty of space for all 10 of us which included crazy kids and lots of belongings

Fireman’s weekend at Camp Freeze

We stayed at Camp Freeze for our annual fireman’s weekend with our group of 7. The location was perfect, walking distance to all the local spots we enjoy. The property was perfect for our group, very clean and decorated to give it that cabin feel. Dave was helpful and answered any questions we had quickly. We are looking forward to staying again!

We were very pleased with the rental. It was perfect for our 2 families to vacation. Walking distance to a lot of shops and attractions. Communication with the owner was perfect. Within 30 minutes ofnour check-in, deer walked right up to us for a visit. We will be back for sure.

Perfect location!

Quick weekend away and this place checked all the boxes! The host was quick to respond when we checked in, the place had no power due to an accident nearby. He sent me updates as he received them. It was a great location, convenient to town, to restaurants and the grocery store. We would stay here again in the fall or winter.
