Located inside Snowline, a peaceful gated community in Glacier, the cabin is approximately 25-30 minutes from Mt. Baker Ski Area and comfortably accommodates up to six guests. Come for powder days, fall weekends, summer hiking or simply a few quiet days surrounded by the North Cascades.



After a day outside, settle into the living room beside the gas fireplace, stream a movie on the smart TV or head outside for a soak in the private hot tub. Large windows and warm wood interiors give the home the classic mountain-cabin feel people come to Glacier for, while fast fiber WiFi, a remodeled kitchen and two bathrooms make longer stays easy.

The main level is made for spending time together. Relax in the living room with comfortable leather seating, a gas fireplace and smart TV after skiing, hiking or exploring the surrounding mountains.



The remodeled kitchen has quartz countertops, a gas range and the essentials for preparing meals at home. A nearby dining nook makes it easy to gather for breakfast before heading to Mt. Baker or linger over dinner after a full day outside.



A bathroom with shower and a laundry area are also located on this level.

One twin bed in the open landing area. This is not an enclosed bedroom and is best suited to a child, teenager or guest comfortable sleeping in a shared passage area.

Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25-30 minutes away, making Forest View Chalet an easy base for skiing, snowboarding and winter mountain getaways. During warmer months, the surrounding area offers hiking, mountain biking, fishing, river recreation and scenic drives.



Snowline also has a heated outdoor community pool that is a seasonal summer amenity only, typically available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Sleeping Layout

The home accommodates a maximum of six guests. All sleeping spaces are upstairs. The twin bed on the upstairs landing is in an open passage area rather than an enclosed bedroom.



Parking

Parking is available for up to three vehicles.



Pets

This is a pet free home.



WiFi & Cell Service

The cabin has high-speed fiber WiFi and a smart TV. Guests will need their own subscriptions for streaming services. Cell coverage in Glacier and the surrounding mountain area can vary by carrier.



This is a rural mountain community, so storms, snow, falling trees or regional outages can occasionally affect power or internet service. Downloading driving directions and check in information before heading into the mountains is always a good idea.



Winter Travel

Snow and ice are part of winter in the Mt. Baker area. We strongly recommend a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle during winter conditions and encourage guests to arrive prepared for changing mountain weather.



Groceries & Dining

Glacier has several small locally owned markets and dining options, but choices are limited compared with Bellingham. If you are planning to cook during your stay, consider picking up larger grocery orders before heading up Mt. Baker Highway.



Snowline Pool

The community pool is a seasonal summer only amenity, typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is closed during fall and winter.
