Stylish vintage home on one of the prettiest streets in Santa Rosa, remodeled in 2018. Ideal location for your Wine Country retreat! Walking distance to downtown with exciting restaurants, breweries and shopping, yet only a short drive (15-20 minutes) to some of the best wineries Sonoma County has to offer. Come and enjoy the modern, yet cozy decor of this beautiful 1933 home and explore the wonder of the North Bay.

The home offers two large living spaces, both with fireplaces, so there is space for everyone is enjoy their stay. The open plan kitchen and great room lead out onto the back deck.

The kitchen is stocked with the tools and utensils you will need to prepare your meals. We provide basic essentials for cooking, such as oils and spices.

The master bedroom offers a luxury ensuite bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower. The bedroom is spacious with a comfortable king sized bed and has its own access to the back deck. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the third bedroom offers two twin beds and a desk area.

Santa Rosa Short Term Rental Permit: SVR23-103. Maximum 6 guests. Please note that guests must observe the quiet hours of 9pm to 7am, as per our short term rental permit rules.

Great wine-country launch spot

Perfect location to head in any direction for hiking, good food and wine tasting. Many great dining options within walking distance. Host easy to work with, home well equipped and comfy. Great neighborhood!

Excellent location and quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay and Jo's and Ed's place. This was close to many restaurants and areas of our interests. The master suite and remodeled kitchen/living area really stand out in this property with wonderful amentities.

Lovely Historic Home - Clean & Comfy!

We rented this lovely home when we were in town to see our new granddaughter. The home was impeccably clean! The beds were comfortable with very nice linens. I made big meals every night and found everything I needed in their well- equipped kitchen including nice sharp knives! Jo & Ed were extremely responsive when we had questions along the way. The neighborhood is so nice with many other well kept historic homes and you can walk into downtown Santa Rosa as well! We have rented many homes and found this to be one of the nicest, cleanest, well-maintained homes so far!

This is a newer VRBO listing for us, but as a family we have been running vacation homes for nearly 20 years, in Spain and France as well.

1726 Austin Way has been remodeled in a modern yet cozy style, maintaining its original 1933 charm. The location of this home is key; quiet and tranquil, but just minutes to downtown, and walkable to breakfast, coffee and dinner spots, with easy access to 101 and the Sonoma Wine corridor. This is a very comfortable home, with several areas for guests to be as a group, or relaxing individually.
