Family Lake House for boating & fishing

Maximum 6 adults. Brick home with 3 large bedrooms including 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds (a crib and extra cot available) to sleep 2 per king & queen and 1 per twin. There are 2 updated baths, inviting living room, dining room, new kitchen, sun room with a view, deck above, and patio below with large grassy lot front and back. Great roofed dock with swim deck and tie ups for boats and jet skis. We have a private launch for convenient launching of your boats. It's a great place for year-round fishing, summer water play, and relaxation all year.

Nice location, had fun. Few issues were...

The trash at the doc was full when we got there. The hall bath hand sprayer worked but lossing water behind the head. We never could get water on at the dock even though the value already had been turned with piping. We still dressed fish ok.

Restful time

A family vacation of boating, fishing, swimming and watching the RNC convention. Interesting, for a large number of cottages on the lake we saw very few people. I imagine the reason was the hot weather and most people were probably at the lake July 4th weekend. Therefore, we had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed a quiet time and beautiful sunsets. We’ll return to Lake Weiss in the future. Thank you Loren

Grandparents lake house.

Beautiful property on a beautiful part of the lake. The swimming was great. The location is perfect for relaxing. The house is spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone. The dining room table is prefect for game nights with the family. The house does however stay a bit warm. The dock offers plenty of space to fish and swimming. The lower swimming deck makes for easy access to the water for both children and adults. This place to take you back to your grandparents house in many ways. Most of the rooms have fans which are needed at night. The sun room is a great little hang out to cool down and snack.

Our youngest graduated from high school and chose a fishing trip with his dad, his brother, and his two best friends to celebrate. The sixteen pound catfish he caught off the dock was the highlight of the trip, for sure! If you’re looking for a pristine house that has had all the character remodeled right out of it, this is NOT the house for you. This house is family pictures hanging on the walls, it’s imperfect DIY projects, it’s rooms are full of bits and pieces of a real family who has elected to share their beautiful place on the lake with other real families. It’s not a rental house, it’s a shared home and we loved every second of our time here.

Great little house

Cute house, right on the water. Plenty of room. Everything was labeled, which was great. We didn't have to search for items we needed. House does not have a Keurig coffee maker. Just plain drip one. Home owner said he was stopping by on Thursday to fix a light that had fell. He came unannounced on Tuesday. Came in through the basement. Which was a shock to us. My concern is if we were in the shower when he entered without notice. Overall, great house.

The heat in the house did not work. Luckily, there was a Walmart where we purchased space heaters. Extra cost for heaters $ 225.00. But we loved the house and location

Lake House

We really enjoyed the stay only a few things that was disappointed with 1. One of the beds needs a new mattress was very very hard. 2. There was cooked food left in the fridge. 3. On towels or wash clothes in the up stairs baths . But even with these disappointments when we called the owner they responded on the towel situation quickly with the solution

Lake Weiss

My family enjoyed our stay at this home on Lake Weiss. The home is big and has plenty of beds and a huge yard and dock on the lake. We enjoyed the grill and kitchen and the sunsets !
