Hi- and welcome to our Listing. Thank you so much for taking the time to review our property and we hope you choose our home as your destination for your vacation! There is a little interesting history about this home. Around 2011 I was hired by a Dallas couple to come and decorate their "Beach house" that they were building. (I am an Interior Designer by profession, and I have a small boutique firm in Dallas, TX- Kim Armstrong Interior Design) Anyway, I was so excited about the opportunity to work on a beach house. Little did I know that one day that house would be ours. Years later, sadly the husband passed away, and the wife and I had kept in touch. The house and the upkeep were proving to be too much for her, so before she listed the home, she approached us and asked if we were interested in purchasing the property. Our answer was an ecstatic YES!!! Or at least my answer was YES!!! My husband, on the other hand, was a little more hesitant about absorbing the costs of a beach house. but He Gave Inn-(pun intended!) and so, there you have it! My husband works for DPS and is in the special crimes and narcotics division. I am self-employed, so investing in and managing rental properties is how I choose to invest in our retirement. This Beach house is more of a pleasure rental that we are excited to share with our family and hopefully yours!
Why they chose this property
You will absolutely love the location of this rental! it is on the quieter side of the island where the beaches are more private and the pace is a little slower. You won't be fighting for "Beach Space" here. Our house has beautiful unobstructed views of both the Gulf and the Bay, and the walk to the boardwalk is only 1 minute away! I have intentionally designed the house to give our guests a unique experience in a well-designed home. We have thoughtfully considered how to best accommodate our guests, and provide functional and aesthetic furnishings that are casual but luxurious providing you with a tasteful "Beach" experience for the time you are here. We have two decks where you can relax and enjoy the ocean breezes along with gorgeous sunset and sunrise views. We have provided you with plenty of activities, to keep both you and the kiddos occupied! Our kitchen is well equipped for any of your cooking, or drinking needs! I believe in good quality sheets and pillows, so each bed has a hotel quality to them. Our bathrooms are gorgeous, with marble, and glass accents. We also have a great outdoor shower, which I particularly love! It's also a perfect place to rinse off your four-legged family member after a long day of chasing seagulls on the beach. We have pet-friendly accommodations, dishes for food and water, along with a portable doggy bowl for the beach. a few toys to keep them entertained, doggy bags for picking up after, and a gate on the deck to keep both your two-legged and four-legged babies secure and safe. You don't need to worry about lugging your beach gear here! We have provided a wagon, ice chest, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and plenty of beach towels. We strive hard to keep this property in the best condition and do routine maintenance to combat the harsh salt air. we will be quick to respond in case something needs attention. We know you will enjoy your stay here, and we are excited to host you during your vacation!
