Water Street Retreat 08

Enjoy everything Wilmington offers from its award-winning restaurants to its top-notch nightlife. Everything is located within one block of walking distance. You will be relaxing in a one-bedroom condo with full amenities that include wireless Internet, all linens, a kitchen, and a separate living room. Enjoy breathtaking views from your balcony that overlooks the Cape Fear River. Everything you'll need within walking distance, restaurants, pubs breweries, historic tours, and of course Live Oak Amphitheatre.

We require all guests on the reservation to submit picture IDs at least one day prior to arrival so if this is an issue please book elsewhere. If we don't receive this information it will delay your check-in time.


~We will supply a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, a few dishwasher pods, small bars of hand soap beside sinks, and a few trash bags (kept under the current trash bag in the can). Please plan accordingly on what you need to bring depending on your length of stay.
~ The guest booking this condo MUST be 23 yrs or older and are staying on the premises NO 3rd party bookings permitted. They will be canceled and NO refund given.
~ Guest count must be accurate at the time of booking including all children over the age of 2.
~ Additional fees of $50 per guest will be charged if the guest count is wrong and needs to be adjusted after arrival.
~ This property is NOT available for parties or social gatherings of any sort and is only intended to be used by its registered guest ONLY.
~ QUIET times are observed between 9 pm - 8 am
~ This is a NON-smoking condo. If air-quality sensors are triggered there will be a $250 remediation charge no questions asked this includes the balcony area.
~ ID is required for all guests on the reservation and must be sent 1 day before arrival for access codes to be activated for check-in or this will significantly delay your check-in
~Comes with a Parking pass for free offsite parking for 1 vehicle, keys, (if keys are required) and parking pass must be returned or a $150.00 loss of your deposit.
~ Keep the property and all furnishings in good working order.
~ Only use appliances for their intended uses
~ NO PETS: If you intend to bring pets of any sort, service, or other please let us know in advance so we help you find an alternate property that will better accommodate your needs. Violation of the NO PETS rule will terminate your rental agreement with no refund. **OWNER OCCUPIES PROPERTY PART-TIME - PETS PRESENT HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES TO THE OWNER~

Not our favorite but fine just the same.
Great location. Property OK, Bathroom sink not draining well, Ok furniture, good bed, weird to have vacuum out in the bedroom, nice to have a little porch with a good view. Wilmington was not our favorite city. Will not be coming back.

Too many instructions
If you want a relaxing easy carefree stay, avoid. Paragraph messages with instructions and rules, a front door lock that barely works, 0 ambiance, and LOUD LOUD LOUD from the bars outside.

Good location. Walking distance to everywhere downtown. Parking is off site, but safe. Condo was perfect for two, maybe cramped for 3. Kitchen is small but well equipped.

Great location and view but the property was not equipped very well. One dinner fork, only light in kitchen is bottom of microwave, fixture in living area was broken, hall lightbulb was out. Will not be returning to this unit.

Great location, average stay, needs improvement
The apartment has a great view and is in a great location downtown, as I hoped it would be for the price. You can walk anywhere. It was bigger than I thought as well. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the balcony because it was covered in old dried up bird poo. I did wipe down the coffee table and cushions with my wet wipes but it wasn't possible to avoid the poo on the ground... The floors were not clean in the apartment so I wore my slippers around. 👎 Posting referred to pullout couch, but it's a futon. Futon was not made upon arrival for bed. The futon was ripped/torn and the mattress is worn. You can feel the springs. It needs to be replaced. The kitchen was cute, but the only sponge on hand was soiled and smelled bad, and needed to be replaced. I had to wash hands after using sponge because the sponge was so stanky. The bedroom had blinds, but no curtain and sun up was at 6AM bright in the room since. Recommend to add curtains. It was odd that we had to take our own trash out, which had to be thrown in a super tall dumpster out back. Make sure your strongest friend takes that duty on to chuck it 6ft up. I have NEVER had to take trash out at a stay before. No extra garbage bags were provided. The property manager did not respond to my messages thru VRBO, so I had to track down the phone number and call for a question. He was curt on the phone for someone trying to provide customer service. I called twice and he was this way both times.
