Reasons to Book:
Fido Friendly with Fenced Yard Ideal Aska Adventure Area Location 5-Minutes from Town Game Room with Billiards and Ping Pong Table
If you are imagining a scenic mountain getaway that the whole family will enjoy when searching for your North Georgia cabin rental, look no further than EddieBear! This inviting cabin was named for the owners' constant canine companion Eddie, who loved being in the mountains. The cabin even has a fenced-in yard so everyone, including your best buddy, can safely play in the beautiful outdoors.
Ideally located in the Aska Adventure Area with world-class fly fishing, kayaking and tubing in the Toccoa River, hiking trails and Lake Blue Ridge right down the road, EddieBear is also only a 5 minute drive to the delicious dining, boutique shopping and breweries of quaint Downtown Blue Ridge.
Perched on a wooded hillside with sweeping mountain views, the cabin has a traditional log cabin exterior and warm pine interior that beckons you to step in and start relaxing. A striking wood-burning fireplace made with large river stones will keep you warm as you stretch out on the leather sofa or reclining armchair and watch the game or read by the light of the distinctive wine barrel chandelier. The main level is open and airy with a large country dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and picture windows that is perfect for preparing and enjoying treats like a warm apple pie made with nearby Mercier Orchards apples. The rustic wildlife-themed décor throughout the cabin continues on the spacious screened-in back deck, where you can take in the stunning panoramic mountain views from any of the sitting areas including whiskey barrel tables, rocking chairs, Adirondack chairs, and a handmade live wood table where you can feast on the delights coming off the gas grill.
Step down to the lower level into the game room and engage in some friendly competition at the dart board or billiards table that converts to a ping-pong table, a poker table and even a roulette table! There is a flat screen TV and an adjacent kids room with a chalkboard wall, games, small rocking chairs, and a pullout sofa. As you venture outside onto the lower deck, sink into the steamy waters of the hot tub, recline in the wooden lounge chairs, or have a snack at the wooden table that seats four. Directly off the deck is the fenced-in yard where you can play or gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows for S'mores you can eat at the nearby picnic table.
When you are ready to hibernate, choose from the upper level master suite with a king bed, matching wooden furnishings, flat screen TV, an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and Jacuzzi tub and a private balcony with wicker love seat, chairs and coffee table. The main level has two bedrooms, one with a wooden queen bed with pine tree accents and the other one with a queen log bed and private deck access. There is an adjacent full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and single granite vanity on the main level. The lower level bedroom has a queen log bed, bear bench and a full bathroom down the hall with a walk-in shower and single granite vanity.
Whether you are watching an incomparable mountain sunrise or star-gazing by the cracking fire, let the peaceful, easy feeling of EddieBear envelop you as you make lasting memories with your loved ones that will have you longing to return to this extraordinary cabin!

We had a group of 8 people and really liked this place. The screened in porch was great to be on at night. The place was very clean and comfortable. Only a 10 minute drive to downtown. I would stay again.

We are so glad to hear that you found EddieBear to be a great place to stay for your party of 8! Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave this review! We hope to host all of you again soon!
As with most cabins, the drive up is a bit harrowing and the parking requires some finagling to manage, but the lovely, relaxing porch with a sunrise view makes it all worth it.

We appreciate your kind review and you're correct, those roads can be difficult at times. We do thank you for staying with us at Eddie Bear and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Incredibly furnished and comfortable this large but cozy home had everything imaginable to make our stay perfect. Cabin decor is beary appropriate to the location. Home is close to groceries, shops and restaurants. Best rental I've ever had and easily enough room for the 5 of us. Definitely book this cabin without any worries!

Thank you for staying with us at EddieBear! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! We look forward to hosting you again soon!
The cabin was great for 6 adult women, with 3 baths, beds comfortable, living and kitchen were smaller than the pictures looked but still worked fine for us, stocked with both kerig and standard coffee pots for all interest. Hot tub was great, paved drives into home, even though parking for 3 cars was tight. Enjoyed the closeness to downtown dining and shopping,
Would stay again.

The level of comfort and supplies in the cabin is outstanding. It is as advertised. Very close to Blueridge, but you would never know hanging out in the hot tub! No seasonings supplied, not even salt and pepper, bit everything else you need is there.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Eddie Bear. There was some initial confusion as the listing stated a pack n play would be available for use but wasn’t at the property. Property management brought us the pack n play and customer service was very nice about it. The views from the porches are just breath taking. We would definitely stay here again and truly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Eddie Bear cabin. Our daughters wedding was in Mineral Bluff and the cabin was close by. We loved the cozy wooden feel of it. There were a couple of leaks after a huge storm but they came to check it out the next day. Fortunately no more rain after that.
Thanks for a lovely week.

The cabin was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchen the best stocked kitchen with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed nightly bonfires with a well stocked wood pile for guests to use. The hot tub was another nightly activity along with darts and ping pong tournaments. The view from the third floor balcony at sunset was gorgeous! The cabin was very homey and decorated to make you feel like your visiting your family’s cabin in the woods. Does not have the feel of a sparely decorated and stocked rental property like we’ve been at before. Also, location is perfect for visiting Blue Ridge.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! Plenty of room for everyone. This cabin has everything you need and can think of...from a roasting pan that allowed us to prepare a full Thanksgiving turkey dinner to dog toys for our fur babies (which I forgot to pack). It's super comfy, clean and the fenced yard was an added bonus for the pups. The only recommendation I have to help improve this already spectacular property is to add some comfy seating in the basement game room area. There is a large TV down there but no comfy seating which would have been great so that the kids could have watched their own movies downstairs while the adults lounged in the main living room.
We loved our stay and will definitely visit EddieBear again!

My family of 7 stayed here over a weekend+ a day or two. It's convenient to town but you feel like you're in the country. The house had everything that we needed and then some. The only thing that was an issue was the difficult parking area. You can back out but it's difficult to see so I would have someone standing up on the road to help in case another vehicle was passing by. I think it would be difficult to park if you had more than two vehicles. I was aware of the parking/exiting situation prior to our stay. All in all, great place to stay.
The property looks a lot bigger online. It is cozy but the furniture could be more comfortable and we had some problems with some outlets not working, bulbs being burned out and the filter on the refrigerator was signaling that it is bad. The game room is a bonus, though it smelled musty/moldy. The location is really great because it is so close to everything but maneuvering in and out of the driveway was quite a challenge. It was fine but not great.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay, and I have passed along your helpful feedback to our property management team. We appreciate responses like these to better our homes for future guests and homeowners. We hope to host you again soon!
This house is super cute on the inside. The decorations are very busy but it feels extremely cozy. The view for sunset is absolutely amazing and gorgeous from the top room. I loved the fence yard and it being pet friendly. The only thing negative I can say about this place is the location. It’s a narrow one lane road to get there with SHARP curves to turn and a steep hill to park down. Not ideal when you have a huge truck towing a motorcycle and 2 additional SUVs. Other than that. This house pretty much had everything a family of 8 with 2 large dogs needed! Love that Walmart is 5mins away.

Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Deck had great view of the mountains. Loved the rocking chairs. We enjoyed our stay!
Only thing to be warned of the one lane road to the cabin, it's tight if you meet a car. Other than that, we recommend this cabin.

Loved Eddie bear, and made wonderful family memories. We drove from Florida Nonstop because of COVID and arrived 30 min early . Really needed to stretch use facilities but unable to gain access. Maybe tell people absolutely no early entry under any circumstances. A few things needed attention such as a drawer in kitchen Kept falling down from slides and shelf in freezer Only had two clips . We all had congestion and were thinking that perhaps if Eddie bear had fewer fluffy Xmas Knick knacks on mantles etc that might be holding dust? All over it was a home and not a rental so I will take dust broken shelf and We loved our bed, pillows and linens. Thank you and will come again
