Come experience the crown jewel of South Padre Island, the Sapphire Resort! Surround yourself with contemporary luxury in your tastefully furnished and accessorized, condominium overlooking Sapphire's tropical resort grounds and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! Rest peacefully in your master bedroom outfitted with a King-sized bed and flat-screen TV. A private master bath provides a large jetted tub and a spacious walk-in shower. Treat your guests to the comfort of a guest bedroom outfitted with another King-sized bed and flat-screen TV of their own. Guests have access to a spacious bathroom with double sinks and a tub/shower combination.

The condo offers an open concept kitchen and living room with views of the beach! Guests can enjoy meals cooked in a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and large center island. The condo also provides free WiFI and has a washer and dryer inside the condo for guest use.

Pamper yourself at Sapphire's full-service spa, work out in a state of the art fitness center, take in a movie in the 30 seat theater, challenge your friends in the game room and lounge around the largest pool in South Padre Island. Your luxurious vacation begins at Sapphire #403!

Amenities and Vacation Essentials Provided

Every stay at Sapphire #403 includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. These small extras will make your stay even more relaxing and worry-free.

Please note that, in addition to rental units, Sapphire is a residential property. Many of the units are occupied by owners that live here full time. Upon booking, you will receive a list of the Sapphire's rules and regulations. Guests are asked to respect and obey the Sapphire's rules so that everyone can enjoy their time at the resort. This brief note is to emphasize the fact that the Sapphire vigorously enforces these rules. Failure to abide by them may result in fines and eviction. Refunds will not be given to any guest that is evicted as the outcome of breaking any of the Sapphire's rules and regulations.

Fantastic Condo and fantastic management team!

We had a great time in this lovely condo in the Sapphire! (Despite the tornado warning at 2:00 a.m. but that's not anybody's fault! haha!) Everything was clean and well stocked, as stated in the rental agreement! The staff at the front desk and the staff at SPI Rentals were both attentive, helpful, and answered any calls/questions we had right away. The entire property and the grounds/pool were also clean and well taken care of! Thank you for making our vacation week so easy and enjoyable! We would love to come back someday soon!

Gorgeous Condo

The condo was very nice and well furnished. All dishes were included and it was very cozy. The view is gorgeous. The pool at the Sapphire is amazing and so relaxing. This condo is very well maintained. The condo could have been cleaned a little better by SPI Rentals. Lots of sand on the floor and kitchen counters. Overall I would stay here again and I would recommend it as well.

Beach vacation

Loved this condo, very modern and clean however the condo has a funny smell. Not sure where the smell is coming from, but maybe some plug-ins in each room would help. Something down the garbage disposal does not smell good so we left the top on. Other than that, I would definitely stay at this unit again. Also some wine glasses would be nice to add to the dish inventory!

The pool water was very cold, rarely saw anyone in it. Can’t even have music by the pool- ear buds only! Spent 90%of the time next door at Margaritaville in their pool, and restaurant But overall our condo itself was nice except for one big cockroach we had to kill in our master bathroom

Be VERY CAREFUL - renting this unit !!!! It is not what it appears to be!

What a nightmare - and SPI was not helpful or accommodating at all with all the issues. This unit is poorly stocked, not clean, not inviting or comfy all this could have been ok had 1. The AC worked 2. The TV worked (no cable nothing to watch) 3. The unit reeks of old musty cigarette smoke 4. The faucet for hot water was broken When we contacted SPI they said they would send someone to fix so we left unit. When we came back still no AC they put an air freshener for the smell, no hot water and no tv. They had no where to move us and no fans or any way to accommodate the temperature of 87 degrees inside. The Saphirre building manager sent their AC guy at midnight and after about 45 min he told us this had been a consistent issue in this unit and they SPI instead of fixing it correctly just tried to bandaid it and the wiring had to be replaced it’s the only option - otherwise it will continue to not work. He said they have been notified and we were not the first to be in his situation in that unit. By the next day we were able to get into Margaritaville next door and left Saphirre and SPI Rentals / now on to the refund - I booked through VRBO but SPI refunded the Cobos fee and told me I could get the rest and my fees back myself by contacting VRBO myself really? We didn’t choose to find ourself in this issue - SPI did nothing literally nothing to help us it was miserable add the cigarette smell with the heat. If they valued l us at all they would have helped

Sapphire itself is beautiful from the entrance to your individual condo. Very clean and spacious. The spa is definitely an added plus but the only thing missing and I really wished they had was a coffee bar downstairs in the lobby.

the condo facility was excellent. the unit lacked in furnishings. 1.no end tables in living room. 2.no lamps in living room or master bedroom. 3.coffee pot good for one person. 4. insufficient number of skillets to cook. I will still use VRBO, but we will not choose this unit again.

Great room

Nice room, stayed with the wife and kids for about a week. Bathroom was fantastic, living area was spacious. Walking distance to some restaurants and shops, beach was nice. Only complaint is the master bed could be more comfortable, and having to go to the leasing office before checking in was a little annoying. Overall great experience, though.

Beautiful Property

We enjoyed our stay at the Sapphire. Beautiful property, great location, great staff, clean. I would most likely book this condo again but we did have a few issues. I usually try not to do any laundry on vacation but I tried washing a few things in the washing machine but the water wasn't draining and the door wouldn't unlock. I called maintenance and they were able to unlock the washer for me but there was water sitting in the bottom so I did not attempt to use it again. The dryer worked fine. The a/c worked well but the bedrooms get warm if you close the door. One of bedroom ceiling fans only works with the light on. The view is great but we were notified the night before check in that there would be construction going on at the Pearl pool area right across from our balcony. It was really loud on the balcony and at the Sapphire pool area. I was a little disappointed but we didn't hear any construction noise from inside. Everything was clean and the bath towels were great. Even with the small issues I still recommend it.

The Sapphire was great, perfect location. We were on the 4th floor and had a wonderful ocean view. The condo was very clean and well maintained, just perfect for a set of grandparents, parents, and a toddler! The staff was very helpful and courteous. Lots to do with the kids and nighttime fun for the adults in the outdoor bar at the Pearl next door! I highly recommend this location.
