We would stay again. Perfect location.
Overall the place was very good. There were only 2 forks when we got there, but they delivered them the day we called. The beds downstairs were very comfortable. The one bed needed a mattress pad. When we went to pull the sheets off to put on the floor to be cleaned there was a large pee stain, so I would recommend that if renting your place get water proof mattress pads for beds because this mattress is a nice mattress that someone ruined, and obviously did not relay that message when they departed. The place was overall very clean. The downstairs tub would not drain, so you stood in 3 inches of water. The furniture was outdated which did not bother me, but I would recommend at least some knobs on some of the dressers. Knobs can be bought pretty cheap. Views were great. Hot tub was clean. Could not get main floor tv to work with direct tv. No HDMI cable, but other TV’s worked well, and main floor tv you could use as smart tv. We never could get fireplace to work. The actual remote plug in for fireplace has never been out of box. Would recommend that being fixed for upcoming cool weather.

This cabin has seen better days
We have stayed at about ten different Starr Crest cabins over the years and this one was by far the worst we ever rented. The cabin has clearly been neglected and has seen better days. The furniture is old and broken, nothing has been updated in what looks like thirty years, the faucets don't work properly, the toilets all run constantly, the kitchen faucet drips constantly, the ac in the main bedrooms didn't work and they were miserably hot, the fireplace in the main room didn't work (not that we would have wanted to use it this trip because the bedrooms were so hot, the hot tub wouldn't get warm and the jets wouldn't work, the carpets were super gross and stained and we wouldn't dare touch them with our bare feet, the cabin looks so dingy and gross even if the cabin was spotless it wouldn't have looked clean, the linens were gross looking, and the outdoor furniture was splintered and unfit to sit in. Overall this cabin needs A LOT of work and until then should NOT be rented. Gross. Gross. Gross.

The Best View!
We absolutely loved the location and the view! The cabin was well furnished. The washer was tiny (you could fit three towels) and the dryer took two full cycles to dry anything, but if you don’t want to wash clothes on your vacation, it’s great!
