We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Sacramento River House! The accommodations are just as it was advertised. However, the view of the River is so much better in person. We will definitely stay at this property again!

We brought our children and grandchildren for a family vacation. The view is beautiful and the main house is very nice. The pool was perfect because our first day there it was 106! The hosts were very helpful when problems arose and took care of them quickly.

Piece of heaven on earth

We enjoyed our stay at the river house. We loved the views of the river from most of the house, the large backyard oasis and the swing down by the river. Staying on the river made the Redding heat so much more bearable and we loved spending the cool mornings and evenings down at the water. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We just had an amazing time staying at this gorgeous location on the Lower Sac in Anderson CA. Its a perfect spot as "home base" for fishing, hiking, hosting an even and just exploring this amazing region. Property was perfect, river was speculator and our hosts were extremely conscientious with all the details before/during/after our stay. 5 star all the way!

Gorgeous Property with Superb Hosts

Our stay was fantastic and couldn’t have been better. Check in was smooth and seamless. When we requested an extra sheet set for the pullout bed, the hosts brought them right over. This house is incredible. It has all the creature comforts and amenities you’d need to entertain a family with a wide variety of ages. Add in the fact that the property is right on the river and we quickly realized we found the perfect spot for our long overdue family vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing views but...

Pros: Amazing views & big swimming poolCons: Many things are broken or not working around the house, smelly bathrooms, dirty floor & bath towels (maybe the previous guests wore shoes inside the house), and the grass got a lot of duck poops & mosquitoes. My son got many bug bites inside the house and it swelled up to the point I had to take him to the hospital.

Riverhouse Pros and Cons

Overall we had a good time. Now for pros and cons... PROS- House was clean, cottage and studio were nice, pool was big and deep, plenty of outdoor seating, air conditioner was good and property size was big enough for yard games. CONS- No water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Barely anything coming out of the kitchen sink. Duck poop everywhere. Ants in the kitchen the last day. Also ants around the pool area. BBQ tank was empty which they came and filled the next day. Security gate doesn't work. The river deck was broken months ago due to dam release but wasnt fixed for my trip which sucked because that was one of the main reasons I rented so I could bring boat and fish from. Ground is not safe for toddler down by the water because it goes downhill. Bird poop all over chairs and fire pit down by river which Rob did warn about bugs n birds so that was expected but needed to be cleaned to use. Couldn't get the key code to work on the cottage or the main house and when I called about it the house manager had an attitude. And the biggest issue was being told 1 month before that we didnt pay for how many were coming, which was paid 1 year before and had to go round n round with Rob and go through VRBO to get this resolved. So make sure you get in writing what u are renting becuase the number of people Rob says is being payed for and what the add says don't match. Luckly we finally got it settled but it caused undue stress the month before.
