The interior features rustic decor with handcrafted pieces & design guaranteed to make you feel like you're millions of miles away from the city. Huge game room where you can play basketball, ping pong, billiards, foosball and corn hole. There's something for all ages. In the summer, enjoy swimming in the man-made pond or sit around a warm campfire. This place is perfect for getaways, family vacations, reunions, and special occasions!

Take garbage to dumpster, put dishes in dishwasher, put used towels in laundry room. DONT USE WHITE TOWELS OUTSIDE. POND TOWELS IN LAUNDRY ROOM.
When coming down the driveway and pulling up to the house, all property to the left is not ours, please do not trespass on the neighbors property.

We hosted our annual yoga retreat at The Sugar Shack and it was an amazing experience. It was well-stocked and well-organized. They had everything we could have needed. We love the open concept and turned the garage into our yoga studio. We loved the whole place and can't wait to get back!

An incredible spot to bring the family together

We had an excellent time staying at this one-of-a-kind location. We appreciated that it was close to amenities and there was plenty of space for everyone! Our kids loved the pond.

My three children and their families of three children each spent our annual Cousin camp here. Ages 6-74 and we all loved it. The Sugar Shack is so much fun with amazing touches and everything you could possibly need included. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with tons of area to spread out and explore. The pond provided hours of entertainment of swimming, fishing, catching tad poles and frogs. The yard was perfect for kick ball games and Jedi training. We loved sitting around the fire pit at night and playing games on one of the huge tables. My son found the smoker and made some awesome ribs. There is no way you could possibly describe this place without experiencing it. Best cousin camp ever!!

Wedding weekend at the Sugar Shack

We had a wedding celebration weekend at the lodge and it was beautiful! The property is a fantastic place for family and friends to stay together! There is so much space, so many activities, and everything about it is gorgeous. Highly recommend this property for any event, gathering, or vacation!

Great Getaway

This is an absolutely phenomenal place to stay. We were there with our children and grandchildren and we had a terrific time the whole week. This was our second trip here and it was better than the first. Denise was right there whenever we had a question. Can't wait to return.

Sugar Shack wonderland

This place is fantastic for a big group. Something for everyone no matter the age. Rustic and outdoorsy with all the new modern amenities. Our group will definitely be coming back.

Awesome Family Weekend

The lodge was perfect for our four generation / 30 person family gathering. The layout was great for the entire group to be together but also plenty of individual space when wanted. It is one of the cleanest and well stocked vacation rentals we have been to. Denise was good to work with and always responded very quickly to any questions. We are looking forward to returning to the lodge next year.

Another Great Family Weekend

This was our second family weekend at Sugar Shack and are already planning to return next year. Our group ranged in age from 10 months to 88, and there was plenty of space and activities for everyone to throughly enjoy themselves. It is very clean, extremely well stocked, and Denise is great to work with. Highly recommend the Sugar Shack.

Great property with everything you need!

This was a great place to have a retreat for work. Plenty of space for everyone. Tons of seating in various areas. Lots of amenities. We cooked all meals for 20 people and had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful property and well maintained. Good communication with host. Great property - would love to rent here again!

My hubby’s 40th

A bunch of our friends and their kids came to this location for my husbands 40th birthday celebration. We had 10 kids between the groups of us, ranging from 3-11 years and they ALL had a blast. The adults relaxed, made drinks at the bar, played poker, used the grill, and swam daily in the lake. Me needed NOTHING, the house had everything you could need. We absolutely loved it here and plan to make it annual.

Feels like home only better!

This was our 3rd year having family together at the Sugar Shack. It has become a very special place in our hearts! Always clean, well equipped, fun for all ages! We love the pond and the game room! The Sugar Shack is the best

This is our third stay at the Sugar Shack for my regional team meeting and we love the accommodations. It easily sleeps our group of 12 with plenty of individual rooms and numerous full bathrooms. The space is massive for plenty of room to spread out but also intimate enough to feel homey. The bar is the best and the entertainment areas are more than ample to have too much fun. The best part is the large kitchen with multiple ovens and dishwashers helping accommodate large groups. Denise, owner/host always does a great job of communication and ensuring all expectations are met.

Perfect Stay for a Large Group

Family and friends came together to celebrate a joint bachelor/bachelorette party…this was the perfect stay! Everything you could think of was included from firewood and cookware to extra towels and an jce machine in the bar area. It was so easy to host a large group here and there was something fun for everyone to do. Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to go back someday!

A hidden gem!

This amazing property is tucked away from the rest of the world. The home is very well cared for, and the property is amazing. The pictures online are very accurate. Plenty of space for everyone to be doing something and still not be on top of each other. We had 17 people, 3 generations of family, and everyone had a great time. The kids (and adults) spent all day in the swimming pond. Great spots for fishing. We always had a fire going, and firewood was easy to get. Nice touches like not having to buy toilet paper & garbage bags. One thing I love about this house is that even if you get a rainy day, there's plenty inside for everyone to do. And the inside bar...amazing! The only thing I could say is the beds aren't all super comfortable; some of the mattresses could definitely be replaced. But with all the other great features in this home, this wouldn't deter me from re-booking, which we look forward to doing. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us!
