My neighbor and I stayed at this property while we were volunteers for the week at this year's U.S. Open Golf Tournament at Oakmont. This home is definitely the most comfortable layout I've experienced with updated interiors throughout! Mark and Evan provided a well-stocked kitchen with several great local touches for a welcoming start to our visit. Excellent location convenient to anywhere in Pittsburgh....highly recommended for a relaxing stay in the area.

Great Stay in Pittsburgh

This is a fantastic place - great location in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood within walking distance of shops and restaurants, easy highway access to get downtown or to other parts of the city. The space is clean and well-equipped, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the parking (on street) was plentiful. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. It was such a pleasant stay we strongly recommend it!

Cozy and Well Kept Duplex

If you want to stay in Squirrel Hill, look no further. The location is a quick walk to Murray and convenient to all of the restaurants in the area, as well as a full service grocery store. The property is well appointed, clean, well stocked with kitchen and toiletry basics, and we felt welcomed by our hosts. Highly recommend.

A++ stay

The rental is the 1st floor of a house: so you can hear some noise from the tenant upstairs, but it was very reasonable. Many amenities and gestures that together make this an outstanding rental ie. multiple chargers for virtually any device, communication the day prior to arrival, and the welcome basket mentioned by many others. We would happily stay here again.

Squirrel Hill Gem

Just as advertised and more. We lived this spacious 2 bedrm, 2 bath apartment. The hosts have a created a beatiful, comfortable and well equipped retreat. We especially appreciated the basket of goodies.we would love to return in the future. There was some noise from the upstairs tenants, but it was hardly a reason not to appreciate the care and attention the owners give this beautiful rental. Renters in Squirrel Hill are lucky if they can book this place.

CMU Spring Carnival

We stayed here while in the 'burgh for a few days in April to visit our son during Carnival. Awesome little place to stay, very close to Murray Ave. The fully stocked kitchen was great so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. The goody basket that the hosts provided was so thoughtful and greatly appreciated since we arrived much later than expected. Very clean, very neat; you can tell they meticulously care for this home. Thoughtful touches, like under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, cozy blankets and nightlights, make this feel like your home away from home. Hosts Mark and Evan were so kind and quick to reply to any and all questions. Not to be missed is the little feet heater in the bathroom with the tub; I have got to get one of those! Will definitely stay here again.

Just perfect!!!

This property is all you need when you visit Pittsburgh. We just stayed here for our son's graduation from Pitt!! This was the cleanest property we have ever stayed it. The location was perfect, close (walking distance) to stores, pizza places on Murray Ave in Squirrel hill. 12 min drive to downtown Pittsburgh (we drove directly to the ceremony at PPG and parked in lot across for 10) Also a 5 minute drive to University of Pittsburgh/Carnegie Melon area. Street parking was never a problem right in front of house. Such a peaceful, quiet and safe area right next to the lovely Schenley Park/golf course/botanical gardens. Evan and Mark were so gracious and made our stay just wonderful. We had more than we would need, from coffee and snacks to pots/pans/utensils/towels/sheets/blankets etc. We felt like we were at home from the minute we arrived. Beds were super comfortable as well and checking in and out was so smooth. Such a great place to stay if you're visiting your student at Pitt or surrounding colleges. I wish we had this four years ago. Would have stayed here every time we visited our son. Thanks so much to our hosts for a memorable graduation weekend

Home Away from Home

Love this place. All the comforts of home... Wonderful, responsive hosts have put thoughtful touches throughout the home to enjoy. I look forward to the next time our travels take us to the 'burgh! Stayed there with my husband and our adult daughter; we were in town for our son's college graduation.

We love what we do and we are so very fortunate to meet so many wonderful and kind people in both our furnished properties as well as our long term unfurnished properties. We love gardening with flowers and vegetables alike. We are generally around to answer questions and offer suggestions as needed. We look forward to meeting you and learned about and from you.

Squirrel Hill is a vibrant business district as well as a wide and varied neighborhood. It is walk-able to so many restaurants, gym and many other city amenities. This neighborhood such great access to schools, universities, hospitals and the freeway.
