Hollywood Hills/Laurel Canyon - Wonderful Laurel Canyon Home

Laurel Canyon is one of the most well-known LA neighborhoods for its rich musical history and interesting community. Extremely centrally located, in the heart of Los Angeles, nearby to Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, the Valley and equidistant to almost everything else in the area. Beautiful location, feels like you're far away from the busy City of LA, yet so very close to all of the most popular sights.

This is an entirely private, self-contained and separate two-level space in half of a wonderful Laurel Canyon home. Cool and comfortable upper and lower levels - bedroom and private bathroom on upper level and living room area/kitchenette on lower level. Guests have the entire space and private outdoor patio to themselves (there are no common areas shared with the owner who lives on the property).

In addition to the queen bed upstairs (sleeps 2), there are a number of sleeping options in the downstairs living room area (sleeps 1 adult + 1 child) including a very comfortable sofa (not a pull-out), sleeping pads and futon mattress (both for the floor).

There's a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and hot water kettle. Coffee & tea, bottled water, oatmeal and breakfast bars are provided.

Guests have their own parking space.

Air conditioning, central heat with an additional wall heater downstairs, fans.

Towels, Soap, Shampoo, Body Wash, etc. are provided.

WiFi (very fast and reliable service)

TV with basic cable channels and selected premium streaming subscriptions (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu).

Fire pit (propane gas) on the private outdoor patio.

Access to washer-dryer, dishwasher on owner's side of house, anytime.

Every bit as funky as the hills that surround it. It’s not traditional - to say the least - but it was fun and charming with a tropical feel. The host was very quick to answer questions and make accommodations. Overall a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay. Stephen is a great host, very helpful and even left a few snacks out for our arrival. Probably best to arrive before dark as the hills are steep and the roads are narrow and cell reception is spotty.Having a parking spot is nice, much better than being on the street. Plenty of space for myself and 2 teen sons using the provided air mattresses (the thick 18" ones) and bedding. Shower & bathroom are very nice with lots of hot water. Hope to be back again!

The hosts, the great bed, and the even better shower! This is a must return to property!Steve was extremely patient with our evidently subpar Boomer technology! Although clearly marked, we couldn’t find the entry gate! Once inside However, we felt calm, at peace, and very much grateful to experience the canyon vibes!

This spot is very unique, quiet, and comfortable. The host Stephen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, was always quick to respond via text, and offered great advice/recommendations on to-dos in the area. Just a 7 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the Sunset strip and neighboring restaurants & bars, was a big plus for us! We enjoyed the outdoor patio, comfy bed, & oversized bathroom (great shower temperature & water pressure)!

We absolutely loved this rustic little spot on the hill, close to so many activities and tucked away in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Stephen was a wonderful host. Would love to stay again!A couple of things that might be helpful for those traveling with kids: there is no kitchen sink and no door to the one upstairs bedroom. The Perfect Getaway

The location of the property was indescribable! It was close enough that city things weren't a long drive but tucked away in the mountains to where there was noise. The house was perfectly clean and the host was excellent at communicating and ensuring that everything was well
