Washer/dryer. Nice sheets and towels. Comfortable beds. All wrapped up in a well located, modern apartment with gorgeous views!

About the host

Hosted by Dennis Oldroyd

Host profile image
I'm both a host and a frequent user of VRBO rentals. My partner and like to travel to other countries and stay a month or more to really get to know the place. What we find is that often, the rental properties are poorly set up for long-term guests. Poorly stocked kitchens, uncomfortable furniture, and insufficient linen supplies. For our listing, we're inspired to provide you with a place that you can really live in. Enjoy!

Why they chose this property

Eastlake is a great, close-in Seattle neighborhood that is right on Lake Union. There are many high quality restaurants nearby in both Eastlake and the University District. If you are looking for fun and funky shopping or nightlife, it's only a short trip up to Capitol Hill. The apartment is also close to the Arboretum, or walk down the hill to take in the waterfront, houseboats, and the classic ambiance of Seattle. Bring your paddleboard, and access the lake just a block down the street. Or walk across the bridge and rent a kayak or paddleboard at Agua Verde Paddle Club.

It's also centrally located. Half block walk to transit - with 7 different bus lines available. Twenty-minute bus ride to Downtown Seattle. Twenty-minute walk to the University of Washington Medical Center, Arboretum, or Eastlake shops and restaurants. Easy access by car to I-5 North and South, and the 520 Bridge, from a dedicated parking space in front of building.
