Welcome to Opie's Cabins. These Cozy Cabins are fully restored 100-year old Rail Road Cabins, located near the Comal River. The Comal River is within walking distance and can been seen from the deck. Texas Tubes is located next door for easy outdoor fun. Each Cabin is uniquely decorated with it's own theme. All 8 cabins are connected with a gorgeous deck, which makes reserving multiple cabins more convenient for larger parties and groups.

Each cabin sleeps 1-4 people. These Cabins have a "tiny home" style kitchen, extra linens and cooking utensils are supplied. There is no ice maker or dishwasher. This Military Cabin is ADA/ Handicap Accessible. See photos.

Super nice cabin on the river

We absolutely loved this place. The place looked brand new, everything was so clean and the air conditioners worked super well during 100 plus temp days. Master bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed having coffee on the patio in the morning. Will definitely be staying here again!

2nd cabin rental

Went with friends and rented two cabins for the Labor day weekend. Perfect spot, our group of friends loved it ! Short walk to Texas tubes and a short drive to H.E.B. We will be returning back next year.

Great experience! We arrived late and had code so we were able to go straight to cabin. Perfect size cabins for 4 people. Got to enjoy the outdoor patio area as well as the local wildlife. Would definitely return!

Nice, comfortable and affordable place to stay. Good location (walking distance to Texas tubes, near restaurants and coffee shops) The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was nice having a code for the door and not having to keep up with keys. We would definately stay here again.

Perfect weekend location

We loved everything about our stay in cabin #2. The military decor was great! It was nice to be able to walk to and from Texas Tubes, the location was close to everything we needed for the weekend. The fur I was comfortable and air conditioner worked fantastic - refreshing after a long day. We definitely recommend these cabins and will say again in the future!! Thank you.

EXCELENT PLACE - Will definitely be saying there again!

Everything was fantastic about this property ! Very Clean, accurate description of the place, lots of attention to little details within the cabin. Property manger was very pleasant , and communicates with you about your stay very well... Walking distance to Texas Tubes, so the location is great. Already wishing we were back at the little cabin... The kitchen had all the things you would need to prepare a meal, only thing missing was a blender. Love this place!...

We enjoyed everything about this room and location And would stay there again! So much character and charm inside and outside this tiny cabin. Loved Drinking our coffee on the Patio in the mornings And adult beverages in the evening while watching people go to and from the river. .Parking and access to room was great!!! Perfect for 2 people to come in cool off from river floating, shower and head out for an evening of fun! Super neat and clean. Veronica, owner was wonderful! God Bless the USA🇱🇷

Stayed here 3 times and always wonderful! I will say it would been good to know they were building a house next door and woke up Saturday morning at 8am to nailing and pounding on wood. Also, our neighbors were extremely loud and blasting music from morning till night outside. I really ruined the peaceful spot that opies cabins provide. Other than that it was wonderful as always. Convenient, clean, super well kept, just loved it! We’ll always come back.

Oh my goodness girl I wish you would’ve called me about the Neighbor noise. I would’ve put a stop to that real quick. You’re right it’s always so nice and relaxing and quiet. Yes that has been quite the noise them building that house but of course you know we can’t control that, but I know it is a pain in the neck. I am very glad that you enjoyed the rest of your visit though and I love when you come y’all are always great guest.
