The home was very charming. Plenty of space to hang out and beds to sleep in. The heaters and fans were very much appreciated for the huge temperature swing between the days we stayed. Great location near plenty of restaurants.
We stayed for two nights during a cross country road trip to rest and see the zoo. The space had everything as advertised and the location was close to everything we wanted to see while in town. My kids loved all the games especially the arcade machine in the basement.. Spencer reached out often to see how we were and if we needed anything. My only issue was with the cleanliness, the lawn was overgrown and had trash in it and there was an empty pack of cigarettes in the couch, but everything else was great.
This property suited our needs well. Check in was a breeze, and the property management was great about reaching out throughout the stay. We enjoyed the large dining room table for group meals and games. The air hockey table made for good fun. Personal heaters in most rooms were helpful, as the house was drafty. The stone path between the garage and rear entrance should be used with caution, and avoided in wet or icy conditions.
My family & I loved staying here. The house was very nice & clean, looked exactly like the pictures. Did not have any problems or complications during our stay. Will definitely book again when we decide to go back!
This was a great location for those that are interested in walking to restaurants and bars. There is very fun board game cafe just up the street as well that serves some food and drink too.
We came into town for my niece's birthday and the Zach Bryan concert so we needed a home close to Creighton and this was perfect for 6 of us to call home for a few days. We were able to have my niece and her friends over for dinner and games.
Wonderful home. Couple.suggestions have a high chair ( has a crib and pack n play). Also more pots and pans and mixing bowls. Parking is pretty inconvenient. All in all would stay again.
We kept ourselves busy with our group of 11 with FunPlex and the zoo. This was a great spot for us to sleep and hang out, make some small meals. Two bathrooms, games in the basement, crib and bunk room were all a bonus. We really appreciated the fact that the hosts were hospitable. Easy drive to big attractions and easy walk to ice cream, some restaurants and coffee shop (stories coffee is awesome!)
Tons of options for food and grocery delivery
We took a quick trip to Omaha to see the zoo and enjoy friends. The house was amazing. It had so much charm. There was plenty of space, a big table for playing games and eating dinner, a game system for the teens, plenty of beds, and an awesome front porch. There was a great coffee shop just a few blocks away with a really cool atmosphere. The lister did everything to make sure our experience was top notch right down to very end.
We just happen to be here in the frigid winter storm Elliott 2022. We had a low of -13°F and because this is a very quaint older home, the windows did leak.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the home is very accessible.
Rude and dismissive responses to legit concerns. Safety: back doors were wide open on arrival. Not unlocked, wide open. Door hardware was broken. Host said he was aware but didn’t feel it was a safety concern, despite the fact the doors don’t really close. It was also 3 degrees out so the house was freezing when we got there bc of the open doors. Safety concerns totally dismissed by host. 2- plumbing backed up twice on last evening there- tub wouldn’t drain and poo backed up into tub. Gross. Let host know first thing next morning and response was that it’s never happened before. He did offer to send someone out, but by that time we were pretty frustrated. We left a day early. Parking is tough if you have more than one car. Overall, if the host had been even remotely polite to our letting them know about issues, we still would have left but would just not have left a review. Do not recommend for safety, health and responsiveness issues.

The guest wrote us saying the screen door didn't lock but the deadbolt still worked. After the stay she said we ignored her safety concerns and I responded that we triage maintenance so as to not bother guests. Since the deadbolt still worked we didn't treat that as an immediate safety issue since only the screen door lock was broken and we scheduled maintenance to come after guest departure. When I told her that, she told me I was argumentative. I guess we can't please everyone, as most people wouldn't want us to disturb them for a screen door.
S to parking there is a carport and you can park one car in three carport and one car in from of the carport without using any of the available street parking. So not sure how they found it difficult to park two cars.
Listing was as advertised. The pac-man machine didnt work. Also, Its an older home with squeeky floors and doors so if that bugs you i wouldnt stay here. Otherwise everything was as expected.

Midtown Home
Nice large space for our group. Kitchen was not stocked with enough mugs, cups or bowls. Definitely an older place which we don't mind, but a lot of things neglected...the railing was detached from the stairs, drafty windows, etc. When we emailed and asked for more bowls and mugs, nobody responded. Not what was shown in the photos.
Decorated nicely. Lots of room and beds, and a nice kitchen. Dining chairs were a bit sketchy, as several were broken, and all were quite stained. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable and clean though. Needed more blankets as weather turned colder, and management was quick to respond, so very responsive. Also let us in a bit early, which we appreciated. Parking was challenging if you have more than 2 cars. Location was great, nice area to walk. Bike path right across the street.

Visit to Omaha for a funeral
Lack of really good parking should be mentioned in the description of the place, handle on the exterior door broken (back door). It is an old home with charm and quirks which does not really show in the photos. People who are familiar with old homes would likely get it, based upon the external photo, but I could see others feeling disappointed. Kitchen supplies, in particular pots and pans need to be updated. Mattresses and pillows certainly varied in quality. All that being said, we would likely stay again.
Overall good stay, few small issues, nothing major. It’s an older house like the rest in that area and we are originally from the area so we knew about the type of house and the area. Creaky floors and doors but again, to be expected. Lots of space though, the kids liked the games in the basement, way better than a party of 10 in a hotel. Nice to have furniture on the porch, some friends came over and talked after the kids went to bed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again. It was pretty much right on for the listing and location. Definitely recommend just be realistic and know you’re staying in the more historic part of town.
