The condo was perfect for our needs, close to Club Solitude and convenient to the shuttle. If we come back to Solitude, we definitely will be renting this unit again
We had a wonderful stay at Eileen’s condo! The space was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The layout was perfect, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The location was ideal—close to skiing and the pool, while still being quiet and relaxing. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the host was responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
The host was very friendly and responded quickly to messages. They even checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The location is top notch. Right next to the pool and hot tubs, ground floor, clean and cozy. The club house had men and women’s locker rooms with their own saunas. I enjoyed the workout room while we were there and my kids played in the play rooms (games). The club house offered nightly treats from 5-7 like hot chocolate and smores. There’s a convenience store and 4 places to eat literally around the corner (walking distance). We loved our stay here and 10/10 recommended for anyone looking.
The property was great for a family liking to stay on the mountain and have easy access to ski lifts, shuttle, and village shops. The building amenities were great, including a games/pool room, gym with two Pelotons, a huge pool and two hot tubs, easily accessible from this first floor unit! The apartment was clean, well stocked, comfortable, and the host was very communicative! Will definitely stay here again!!
We had an incredible time at Solitude staying at Eileen's beautiful condo. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty of storage space. She was very easy to communicate with and even offered to show us the best ski trails. You can't beat the village with it's amenities and the ski on, ski off location. We hope to return soon!
Eileen made our stay comfortable with clear communication and instructions on the check-in / check-out process. The property had everything that we needed and our toddler enjoyed the sled that was available for use. We look forward to returning. Thank you, Eileen!
Really enjoyed our stay in Solitude. The condo was very nice, clean and convenient. The village offers some amenities, which was nice to have. The only issue we had was the app did not work to access the unit or garage. Fortunately, the owner had a lockbox to access a fob instead.
Wonderful stay with daughters and grand boys. Condo was conveniently located at base of mountain. Super communication with owner. Great condo with all of the extras.
The condo is very, very well setup.
It has pretty much everything you might need from convenient (not in unit) laundry to two coffee machines, a well-stocked kitchen, modern TVs, a bidet, storage lockers for skis, comfortable beds.
It is very well located in the building with Club Solitude, close to the mountain, and all amenities.
Communication was excellent.
Eileen is the best host I have ever communicated with regarding the booking, amenities, local info, etc. We were driving from Snowbird and there was an impending storm. Eileen allowed us to check in early and we even got to ski for a couple hours that day. The condo itself has everything you need - plenty of cookware, cooking utensils, towels, shower essentials, lots of hangers in the large double door closet, and tons of hooks to hang your ski clothes after a day on the hill. There is a parking garage on the lower level of the building. The condo is also a 2 minute walk to restaurants, shopping and the Apex and Sunrise lifts. Club Solitude is also in the building, so you can swim, use the hot tub, sauna or the gym. We had an excellent stay and can’t wait to visit again!
This place is PERFECT! I don't really know where to begin. Eileen was amazing with all the information she gave me in advance about the lodging and amenities, skiing and other activities in the area. And she kept in contact and answered so many questions for me, as this was our first trip to Utah!
I stayed with my husband and 2 kids. The bunk beds were awesome for them and gave them plenty of room! We had a separate bedroom and there is also a pullout couch that is cozy and roomy. The condo had plenty of "extras" that I wasn't expecting (things like paper towel, coffee, spices, condiments, shampoo, body wash, etc). It was really well appointed!
The convenience of being on the first floor (close to FREE laundry and ski lockers) was awesome. The kids and adults all enjoyed Club Solitude, where we played pool, chess, air hockey and just enjoyed the extra space and the very knowledgable staff. The pool and hot tubs were also great!
We were lucky to be in Big Cottonwood Canyon during an amazing season of snowfall - I believe they reached 800" by the time out trip ended. Getting to the lifts was a super easy walk. And getting to/from the Moonbeam area (day lodge, bar, etc) was a short shuttle bus away. The shuttles ran often and we never waited.
Skiing at Solitude was beyond amazing!!! And we even made the trip up to Brighton (about 5mins) via UTA bus a few times and loved it! You can take the Solbright trail to/from Brighton, but we chose to take the bus. We also enjoyed a day of snowshoeing at the Nordic Center - hiked from there back to the Village where the condo is located about 2.5 miles (took approx 2hrs because of the depth of snow) and it was beautiful!
I really can't say enough good things. Again, the owner is amazing and so friendly and helpful (she even called our last evening to make sure we had heard of the pending road closures so we didn't miss our flight). This is perfect location and I really can't wait to go back! Thanks Eileen!
What a perfect place to stay! Our family with two kids (ages 10 and 7) loved the bunk bed sleeping nook. We skied at both Solitude and Brighton and enjoyed each. The outdoor pool was amazing after skiing each day, and the game room was also a big hit. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The host was so kind and helpful. Loved it!
We very much enjoyed our stay! The logistics of getting checked in were a little difficult - there’s no cell service at the base of the condo and the WiFi listed on the check in instructions had been changed. Once we figured out how to get in, the location was wonderful and had a great time. The space worked great. It is a little dated and could use some TLC (fan in bedroom made loud clicking sound, exhaust vent in bathroom was hanging out). Host was super apologetic and helpful once we were able to communicate. Would stay again!
This condo was perfect for our family of 3. We loved the location, not far from the airport/SLC. It was the perfect space for us. We loved the parking garage access as well as access to Club Solitude, just steps away from the condo. The pool/hot tub were amazing. We also used the laundry facilities and they were very clean and easy to access. We would definitely come back! Communication was also very reliable and helpful.

About the host
Hosted by Eileen Elam
I bought the condo in 2001 as a ski get away. My twins, now 17 learned to ski at Solitude and also enjoy the mountain biking and hiking in the summer. When we aren't at Solitude, we live in San Jose, CA.
Why they chose this property
This property is located on the ground floor of the best building in the village. It is unique as it has high ceilings, no elevators required, and you don't need to walk outdoors to get to Club Solitude, and the pool and hot tub are just down the hall. We also have new furniture and our kitchen has more amenities that those in other units. Also, you get secure high-speed internet access, newer furnishing, board games, sleds to use, HBO and many other TV channels.
