About this property

The property faces a main street and is a short drive to the Town square. The cottage has a few steps leading to the front porch and front door. It has a comfortable sofa/futon that converts to a full size bed in the living room. It offers a newly remodeled bathroom with tub/shower. We have a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Off the back of the house sits a large unfenced backyard with a fire pit.

Charming cottage,nice updated bathroom,period antiques were a nice touch,beds were comfortable.

Very nice,convenient to Walmart and dining,try Mallard’s for dinner,some highway noise but tolerable,linens and thick mattress cover for the futon in the living room were appreciated,nice screened in porch with swing,definitely a place I would stay again.

Great, comfy place with optimal location!

Perfect mix of antique home with modern amenities. Minutes from the town square and the eateries. Everything was spotless and smelled great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a family reunion. Will definitely make this our home base when visiting family in the area. Thanks for having us!!!

Best Home away from Home

I recently spent nearly two weeks at this charming cottage during my National Guard annual training and the experience exceeded all expectations. It was an absolute sanctuary after long, taxing days - an inviting, comfortable space that truly felt like a home away from home. The cottage was brimming with every amenity I could possibly need. From a fully-equipped kitchen, allowing me to cook up homemade meals, to a cozy living space perfect for unwinding, every detail had been thoughtfully curated for comfort and convenience. Furthermore, the host demonstrated an exceptional level of hospitality and commitment to ensuring my stay was stress-free and enjoyable. Their communication was outstanding, responding promptly to any questions I had, irrespective of the time. They offered local recommendations, helpful tips, and were always just a message away, fostering a sense of care that truly sets this accommodation apart. This cozy cottage not only provided an idyllic retreat but also a warmth and personality that made my stay all the more special. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a stress-free, comfortable, and enjoyable stay, be it for work, training, or simply a break.
